I wonder if the 3-4 fg albs killed the glacial giant on öh öhm guess ist was late at night (german time) the OF patch day? (damn brain lags... no beer and no daoc make holsten mad, no beer and no daoc make holsten mad... xD)

We addet in the fight (yeye i know, adding is all we can :P ) like two times, killed some of the albs but whiped. The giant was nearly same % when we arrived again, same procedure as first fight.

So, who won? The giant or the albs, or some other mid grp adding the fight? :?:

Yep, the giant won. His kicks are mean and it was kind of a surprise to me that a RvR group would go and randomly attack him... my group was obliterated after the 2nd mid attack and I wasn't even there to watch! The giant had kicked me half a mile away while I had aggro. 550 dmg + 99% fall damage = ouch.

so the giant is still what he used to be at this patch state on live... nice. Do you think you would have made it without our interference? He was at 50% or so, if i remember right.

We probably would... 2-3 fgs should have been more than enough (without someone running in and killing the utility classes) :D

Killing the giant is completely useless....

You need 2-3 FGs or very good tactics with at least medium RR people and teamspeak to kill the giant, but in the end all he drops are 2-3 drops, thats all. Its even less worth killing him than raiding princes in DF, which already was more worth than a megalodin raid in NF on uthgard.

Satz, the difficulty decides which drops the Giant may drop. Drops may change from one week to another. We will balance the Encounter. Its difficult to test the difficulty level, so we take the feedback of players.

I remember a mentalist charming a Megafelid and releasing it in Mag Mell... oh, the carnage!

P.S. Just joined the server and think it's great. Brings back lots and lots of good memories.
