Hi Folks!

What ya think which class is more powerful? Berserker of Savage?

In my opinion the berserker has more solid damage, because he hits everytime with both weapons. On the other hand savage got multiple hits and self damage buff (at costs of his health). I heard, hammer savages are badass.

What ya think?
Give some comments please :P

Greetings

Iceer

A buffed savage with selfchants hits with mainhand about as hard as a zerk with both weapons, as addition you get double, tripple and quadhits for more offhand damage than any classic dual wielding class might dream of, in addition with better evade, evadebuff, parrybuff, damagetyperesists, hp-to-endu conversion, even with zerkmode on a bersi can only barely reach a savages dmgoutput on uthgard. Also as savage you get side style followupstun and a backstun, as zerker youve got an afterevade-stun only with a coldDD proc upon landing your sidestylefollowup. As a savage you have a free choice between slashing a piercing weapon types and that makes you hit upon neutral or vulnerable armor. You dont have to spec charge therefore getting mopain, aug str/des is much easier. You also hit about 2 times faster than a zerker.
Well, these are the advantages, now ill tell you the disadvantages:
No charge, doesnt half enemy blockchance since h2h is calculated as 1handed swings, eats lots of HPs due to chants every 15 seconds.

I would like to see that.

as zerker youve got an afterevade-stun only with a coldDD proc upon landing your sidestylefollowup.

Didn't know. Zerk have a cold proc on third backstyle and the stun is on second style after evade without proc.

You dont have to spec charge therefore getting mopain, aug str/des is much easier.

Actually you have no choice cause you don't have access to charge.

You also hit about 2 times faster than a zerker.

savage hit with 1.7 swing (if not under celerity what is the case in about 95% of time), zerk hit with 2.3-2.4... And even under celerity, savage hit with 1.5, same for zerk.

Well, these are the advantages, now ill tell you the disadvantages

You forget no snare if H2H spe.

as addition you get double, tripple and quadhits for more offhand damage

better evade, evadebuff, parrybuff, damagetyperesists, hp-to-endu conversion

you get side style followupstun and a backstun

As a savage you have a free choice between slashing a piercing weapon types

All true.

savages will do more damage most of the time. Zerkers will do more damage when they hit zerk mode. Savage has better defense through buffs, but less HPS and loses HPs from the buffs. Savage has better positional stuns, but the zerker has rear snare (as does savage if they go 2H hammer). Zerker gets charge, savage doesn't, neither has a really amazing RR5. Savage gets access to thrust dmg, but has less weaponskill.

Stop crying about Blademasters and learn to assist. This is my great advice for Hibs.
