Evade
Evade is based entirely off of your level of Evade. For each level of evade you have a 5% chance of evading. Evade V would give you a 25% chance of evading an attack.
Evade: (((Qui+Dex)-100)/40)+(Evade*5)+(Dodger*3). < Possible relation to buffs
Evade is only possible if they are within your frontal arc of 180 degrees, unless you have "Advanced Evade" which is only given to Bezerkers, Savages, Blademasters and Mercenaries. Those classes with "Advanced Evade" can evade attacks from ANY angle.
Testing has indicated that when facing enemies using 2 weapons your chance to evade is halved. This is apparently a bug.

http://roclar.net/DAoC/info.php#Defense

Runemaster gets a 90% chance to evade all melee attacks (regardless of direction) for 15 seconds.

Is it supposed to be a fixed 90% chance to evade? Is it based on dex/qui and halfed vs dual wielders? Or how does it work?

I evade a lot less then 90% in rvr and duels. Is it bugged on Uthgard?

RM rr5 not evading 90% all the time is a BUG. Mythic fixed this bug. It should be corrected on Uthgard too.

Realm Ability Issues

1. Rune of Utter Agility

Issue Description:
Currently the Runemaster RR5 ability is affected by number of attackers and their weaponskill, thus lowering the chance to evade greatly. Recommend that a hardcap of 90% be put on the realm ability regardless of the number of attackers.

Mythic Response:
As you said, the ability is affected by number of attackers. If you are up against several opponents, your chance to evade them should be less. We don't plan to revisit this dynamic at this time.

Read the patch notes: http://www.camelotherald.com/article.php?id=403

- The Runemasters Realm Rank 5 spell was causing players to evade much less than the advertised 90%. This has been fixed.

The rr5 didnt work as advertised and intended, it was bugged. Mythic fixed it.

I guess you don't get the point.

Yes they fixed the cap! - The Runemaster's Realm Rank 5 spell was causing players to evade much less than the advertised 90%. This has been fixed.

Where does it say that the number of attackers doesnt count anymore?
The chance to evade was just not 90% - thats what they fixed, they did not change anything about more attackers lowering this rate.

And still it's a 1.86 change...

btw the RR5 is for me the same as the blademaster rr5 except he evades instaed of parry. RR5 works pretty fine for BM´s with a fix 90%.

So why isnt RM RR5 doing what it is supposed to do?

Stormha... learn to point out arguments... and stop this QQ.

Murax is it really the same for the BM? He evades 90% - but is it effected by the number of attackers aswell?

Sonnenschein, BM has 90% parry not evade, and RM 90% evade should be a fixed 90% evade no matter how many attackers are there.

I guess there will be the same answer as theurg rr5, ST and many other 1.65+ and NF RA related bugs:

I dont know how much effort there is needed to fix stuff but it would be very nice if it didnt get ignored.

-.-

Did I post the Links for nothing?

Mythic! MYTHIC said that it is not a bug and it depends on the number of attackers... why do U ALL expect to know better than MYTHIC?

BM rr5 looks pretty muhc like a fix 90% no matter of amount of attackers, its nealry impossible (90% :-) ) to hit him in melee while active.

For my understanding RM RR5 is equivalent to this but it doesnt work like this

Maybe you are right and it sounds correct what you said if you compare it with the BM RR5.

First Mythic said it's not a bug and later on they changed something with Patch 1.86. But Uthgard will not implement changes after 1.80 - I guess you all know that.
There were a lot of changes, for some people "obviously bugs", that were made after 1.80, but were not implemented on Uthgard.

If RM RR5 is changed - be sure much more people will cry for 1.80+ changes ^^ (especially me since cleric RR5 was changed after 1.80 too ;P)
