I can understand why the healer pets aren't implemented, but what about the others? I've never heard bone army or mystics being anywhere close to OP. Are they not implemented because they aren't working correctly or just the OPedness...?

So, having 4 pets who hit for something around 100 dmg per hit, that adds up to 400dmg each 3 seconds, in addition to 4 sec reuse instantlifetap + instantbodydebuff is nothing of the OP-kind, right?

Yes, it's bad play. Even when you're oop it's still bad to melee with a mage.

it seldom does make sense to melee with a mage, but I can't recall ever seeing pest do that over abundantly in a fight.

Circumstances that include when a mage could melee would be locked by a near by support and QC is down, run by melee, and you can cast while they are on interrupt timer. If you had something on you, QC was down, or that thing was charged and someone was casting nearby while instants were down you could melee them as you kite by etc.

just another tool, though one that's rarely used.

so far i´ve seen pesti playing bd like a caster and not like a minstrel as rex.

there are circumstances when it makes sense to rupt in meele (qc down oom ect.) but that was not the issue here.

I wasn't aware that BD pets hit 100% of the time, and for so much. I mean this is Uthgard...

Besides, they can still be CC'ed or killed like any other pet. I'm just curious if they aren't implemented because of technical issues or because of being overpowered.

Hardly overpowered. Just kill the lich (and it's not difficult whatsoever) and all the other pets go blammo.

He does it all the time. Came to melee me when I was draining on a rooted vw once, that was fun.

Nah i am far away from hitting with the staff all the time. maybe something around 5% of the time or less.

Would be interesting to know why you think its bad if i am oop? i wouldnt reg faster anyway becasue my pet is in combat and this way i can even rupt 2 targets without using any mana (not only good when i am oop also good for saving mana for next fight when the current is already won. why i should waste my mana if the tanks can do the dmg) and if i have mana i can even rupt 3 or even4 targets if they have bad positioning.

And i think atm that the best way to play the BD is very very flexible. It always depends on the grp Setup, the enemie setups and the grp strategy and enemie strategy. And even more the current situation of the battle. I realy enjoy switching from killing overextendet with the deftank to rupting clerics or caster just to assist someone again if i see both cleric are rupted or running. Or start playing as caster assisting the ma and when the skald is rooted fast help him out to rupt his target till he is free again.

The only thing i dont like when playing BD is that i am not that good at clearing pets becasue i have no ae cast ( in zerg fights i sometimes whish i had one too ;) ) The only other way for me to clear lots of pets is using twf3 (ok after the "fix" its not good for that anymore too) but atleast i can even clear pets while i am rupted. i can even clear pets while i kite an assist train or rupt enemies while i kite. thats an unique ability no other caster can do. If it works perfekt i can keep a 3 tank assist train, someone where my pet is on and someone i rupt with instand busy for some time.

Working pets would be great ofcourse too, but lots of people would cry because BD would be very strong in solo rvr with heal pets. For me it would be enough if i get a higher commander which atleast con blue and not green and maybe healpets that only heal the commander. That wouldnt be that op but atleast a BD would fit a bit better to his name^^

I know I'm QQ'ing about this, but when will get those BD pets implemented ..., mostly the reply goes ; "When all other things are implemented" but that really does not do it for me. (any semi date would make me so happy)

I had a thread here somewhere where I asked for the bd implementation, linking to another thread where a player did live tests, yet no intention of GM's has been giving in terms of their implementation :/ .

People say that BD is OP because pets (healers) & instant LL, but that is only partially true, with the commander being green, you can easily kill him thus kill the heal pets and the instant LL wouldn't be 4sec anymore when pets would implemented (to many people would QQ elseway)

Furthermore, I would love to play DARK/sup BD but implementing those pets hasn't been done yet too (and those pets don't make the BD more OP then the theurg pet assist train or an animist shroomville)
