Can someone tell me if there is a way to unlearn a trading skill like alchemy and choose another? I think i made a mistake and now I don't want to make another char just for that. :(

thats not possible afaik

btw why would you wanna do that ?

in fact its nice as Armorcrafter to have Tailoring up. that way you can make inlays for up to around lvl 42 chain armor without having to log a tailor

just craft a few weapons that should raise your metalwork.

as far as i remember it, the low lvl ones even make you raise your skill in metal

your sideskills like metalwork cant go higher then your armorcraft skill is. maybe thats your case?

for example on my armorcrafter i have

1164 Armor,
1164 Leather
1164 Cloth
873 Tailor (dont seem to go higher)
1130 Metal
and 1 in weapon

so if i want to raise Metal too i have to craft some low weapons
