Hi, im kind of new to uthgard servers and so to the new UI's there are, so im in need of help on where to get them, and how to install new UI's. This time im searching for some Healer's Helper UI, someone told me in-game that there was a good one, but searched and found the german - speaked thread wich i dont understand hehe, so someone could help me to get and install this UI ? I know too that not every UI fits Uthgard server client so im gonna need help with this too.

I use Ghost UI myself, it has the Healers Helper in it aswell.

There are many different UI's that work here on Uthgard. The once I can remember now is:
GhostUI
MxN
BobsUI
OchUI
GlassUI
Catskin
IczUI
Derida


But if you are a healer I would recommend you to never use Healer's Helper. It have a to long delay compared to the basic group-window and even to the already slow target-windows that many UI's have.


Two real RvR situations:

me: "Why don't you heal when I have a tank on me?"
Healer: "Were you taking damage?"
me: "mmm.... YES!"
Healer: "You was full-health the entire time."
me: "NO! I wasn't. I was down to 15%. Had it not been for the root from the shaman, I would have died!"
Healer: "..."
me: "Are you using healer's helper?"
Healer: "Yes."
me: "That explains it."
me: "Why do you use it?"
Healer: "Because it is great! It makes me be so much better at playing a Healer! I can't believe how I ever could play without it."
me: "You don't know it has a big delay?"
Healers: "No..."


me: "WHY DIDN'T YOU HEAL ME?"
me: "You were completely free, not doing anything!"
Healer: "You are barely taking damage."
Healer: "You are on 80% hp right now."
me: "I AM DEAD!"
Healer: "huh?"
me: "Are you using healer's helper?"
Healer: "Yes."
me: "..."
me: "f***s s***s j***a f******e i****a"

Its this true about the healers helpers delay on the grp window? Im using it and didnt notice anything strange... i would like to hear others healers opinions....

i dont have any problem with the healers helper.

Sometimes can apear buggs but 99% of the time it works oke.

I can probably explain why you feel this way, and probably change your opinion.

You, and probably most of the people who use healer's helper, use it as a replacement for the group-window and the group-mini-window.
Because you do this you will not notice the delay that much, since you have no reference to compare it to.
If you on the other hand began to play with both healer's helper and the group-window open, you would notice these delays a lot more often.


In reality the healer's helper is a third-hand-source. Something that is not good in any situations.

To illustrate the effect of such a source we can look on the target-window many tanks/casters use.
This is also a third-hand-source, and I just ask you:

How often does it happen that the target-window show that the person still is alive, while in reality he is dead?
