Hey guys

I just recently started playing here after a 5 year period of no DAoC, atm I'm working both a theurg(28) and a Paladin(21) and I'm wondering what kinds of dropped items are used in templates and whatnot, also if anyone has bonuses and so forth on some of better weapons and shields that would be awesome, can really help out my template making for the Paladin.

Bracer= mm gratekeper? or stout, wonderous alacrity...
Gem= in auctioner u find for 50 gols +-, resists 7%

The only hard item is basalt 4.2 sword and gratekeper bracer, rest really easy.

ah i forget ^^ shield craft or dragon drop.

Although it wasnt really what I asked, I already have templated which trinkets im gonna go for. What I'm interested in is purely weapons.

you say Basalt is best, I wont go for slash though since im saracen and thus have more dex than str, and thus I'm better equipped using a thrust wep.

what are the stats on basalt weps? are there anything comparable?

even as sara pala you have more STR than dex..since you gain NO dex during leveling but str you gain..

a realy good joice since you cant get the same bonus on an crafted weapon..its even too much for an MP.

Your incorrect about the dex versus str tbh, I'm a saracen paladin with starting 90 dex, at 50 ill have a total of 75str without gear and thus more dex than str, dex also helps out with your shield and I would never spec into +str from RRs
