have a buddy who wants to go 21 cs, 44 LA, 36/36 38 weapon, but idk

im better at timing perf then he is and it seems like without cd landing stun is a pain..but if you go 34 cs spec would be something like 34 CS 39 LA, 36 weapon, 35 env/35 stealth(composite for rr5)

Thoughts?

dont think about playing a sb.

if u want successful rvr with a stealther, play a ranger.

too many rangers =) id rather 1v2 than 2v1..besides ive seen many of the rangers already, not concerned

Go 50 LA, and for low rr with 10 in cs is enough. Play without pa and cd isnt hard.

My SB is:

45La
36 Axe
34 cs
35 Stealth
25 Ven

I am Really diggin this spec. Its really high melle dmg with second to best str/con and 3rd best poison (with +15). Go high MoP with this spec though not Viper.

Also u get PA/CD which (some ppl disagree) is essential for many reasons. Caster killing for 1 - no chance of qucikcast stun or root with high PA and stun. Also getting a nice lead on Heavy defense fighters. After PA and stun u have such a lead on them that its very difficult for them to rebound. With 45LA u still have good dmg after the stun, or if u miss CD.


Then after rr5 ish u can start to bring down axe/stealth/venom for composite 50 and dump them for higher PA dmg (cs) or higher mele (la) which ever u chose. This imo is best of all worlds spec.

Im going to respectfully disagree and say that not going ATLEAST 34 CS, you loose the most important aspect of that makes an assassin so deadly. Going pure weap spec ur gunna get beat out in a lot of non stealth fights because they are essentially the same thing as u, cept with more points in their weapons and better armor.

Seems that with your spec you are rr4 and you didn´t complete autotrain. If you with your spec go to mele you should have composite envenom for have las st/con debuff poison. And i want see how you do pa+cd vs ranger who open with critshot vs you. And for kill casters you dont need pa+cd. First is hard find any caster solo, and second with backstrab2 and chain with aurora borealis combo is enough.

And is better if you respec your LA to 44 and spend 36 points in stealth, for have stealth capped.

He isn't speccing his toon for group combat. He is speccing his toon for soloing and duoing as stealthers.

Playing an SB without PA..is pointless Roll a damn zerker then PA is the best style in any game, its so much fun! Stealth opener FROM THE FRONT! amazing.

BTW whatever spec Wellzy goes, he will be a stellar, solid, strong, excellent, and a scary force in Thid and Emain! I cannot wait to be double PAing some of these kids, to show them how the spec works out bro.

PA only works if you get the Chance to use it ^^

But VS other players SB imo shouldnt use too many points into CS any ways.

Personally I like for my SBs to have PA. It's very satisfying kiting an enemy into a PA, or a chain of PAs.

without 44+ LA you might as well spec 0 LA and use a 2h, LA gimps your main hand weapon damage and the only way to bring it back up is with higher LA skill, the more LA skill you have the less gimped your main hand damage is. thats the main difference between mid dual wield and other realm dual wield.

ideal spec for a sb damage wise is:

50 base +11 sc bonus +rr bonus on left axe, get this total number as high as possible.

x base +11 sc bonus +rr bonus totalling at least 51 on main hand weap skill

if you keep this in mind at rr5 your damage will be very high. you will out dps any CS specced sb this way, you'll do 2 PA/CD's worth of extra damage over a CS SB in a single fight

Maybe playing in group or in df vs greens, he will has high chance for to do pa. Soloing vs other stealthers backstrab2 is much easier.

Pa is the best style. Yes it is but only works vs gimps or afks^^
