Hey guys, haven't played the game in many many years until I found this server. Since it's different from the current game, can anyone give me some advice on which Theurgist spec is best for leveling? Thanks!

I'd say full Ice. Air could be nice too, nice dd. Definitely not Earth.

Yes.
I did
until 20: full ice - good DD and good castpets
20-50: full wind - very good DD, ae mezz & stunpets are useful for battlegrounds
50: 48 earth, rest ice - best pulsing bladeturn, best earthpets for rupting enemies, moderate DD

Could you level to 50 or at least 40 with full ice, even with the missing level 32 ice pet? I'm leveling one now and Ice is so easy, but I'm worried about damage and resists of the ice pets past level 20.

Is air as easy to level with? It seems soloing would be harder with air or ice considering with ice I hardly ever draw aggro away (seems the other two specs would force me to send pets into the fray and get adds) from the pets unless I want to.

I leveled until 41 with ice spec so it's possible. The missing pets aren't too much of a problem, but the insane bugged resistrate on pets is. If I remember well it's 45% resists on yellows so against some mobs you will get chain resisted and you will have to run for your life.
I am assuming direct control.

Just wanted to point out that ice pets spells are spirit damage, so any up and coming theurgs can use any necro guide to level by. Here is one I've been using and is accurate so far for Uthgard (with no SI zones obviously):

1-3: Skeletons - Moldy, Puny, Rotting, standard (various locations)
2-3: Decayed Zombies (various locations)
2-4: Headless Dead (Isle of Glass)
3-5: Zombie Sow (Camelot Hills)
4-6: Large Skeletons (various locations)
5-6: Soggy Skeletons (Isle of Glass)
5-7: Undead Filidh (Camelot Hills, Salisbury Plains)
8-11: Undead Druid (Camelot Hills, Salisbury Plains)
7-15: Tomb of Mithra - all monsters except Mithra priests
8-11: Ghosts (Isle of Glass)
8-11: Boulderings (Camelot Hills)
10-12: Large Boulderings (North Black Mountains)
11-14: Grindylows (Isle of Glass)
12-14: Wind Mephit (Salisbury Plains)
13-15: Mud Golems (Avalon Marsh)
13-16: Sodden Warriors, Drowned, Bugganes (Isle of Glass)
14-16: Gwr-drwgiaids (Llyn Barfog)

18-22: Ghoul Knights, Ghoul Lords (Avalon Marsh, often in groups)
19-22: Faint Grim (Snowdonia)
20-23: Cythrauls (Llyn Barfog)
21-23: Undead Seedsman (Isle of Glass Border, Seedsman plant the Haunted Appletrees)

Why not just spec Wind and you'll get more mana effective spells and more damage. only a nooblet would spec anything other then wind for level.

Well im leveling a theurg and tried wind, the resist rate is nasty here and even a yellow can reach me easily if i have no luck and i hit spirit weakeness mobs, with earth at least you can rely on pets and only sit and watch them kill .

for lv never go wind ,just a mix of ice and earth is the best ,ice til 25 cause the last cold pet is at lv 25 ,is the best espec, yu send one tank pet and one cold pet on yellow mob and it will dead easy.

I did 25 ice for xp with ice pets all the way 1-50.

For BGs I had a MAX of 30 Wind to have the lv 30 mezz spell and the rest pts were in earth, so I was 3 specced and owned nearly in every 1vs1 fight.

Is resist bug on pve corrected ?

For leveling, 1-20: earth, 20-40: ice, 40-50: earth always good ?

And i would have to have some advice for final spec ..

Thanks

i didnt level for month, and im no theu expert, but the common theu specs for 50s are:
40 earth/36 wind (most theus use this, would also recommend it for a fresh 50)
48 earth / rest wind or ice (higher pbt and higher erd pets, but also higher mana costs!)
for high rr theus also 40/30/20 is a cool spec imo (not recommended on low rr)

at least dont spec less than 40 earth, because then the run speed of the erd pets is too slow to be effective / the earth pets have too few hps

I lvl'd from 5-20 in ice, which was fairly fast, but also extremely boring...
From 20 to 40 as air, which I found was a lo more fun really.
The resist rates are not that bad atr the fix, and 1 air pet + a few nukes kills most yellows.

The advantage, to me, was that I could do Braemar as air spec, which I think is a LOT of fun (read: OP'd) due to aoe mez...
Albion and having fun
