hey there,

I've read several guides etc. which are out there, but i still dont know the "fastest", though not necessarily cheapest, way to level up my armorcrafter...

i found 2 guides which say, that reinforced (the armor available at 400 or 500+) is much better for leveling than usual "studded" (for alb, dunno the other realm's names for that stuff)...though it takes longer and it is more expensive and includes more loss per item it is supposed to raise skill more often and thus be cheaper as well as faster in the long run...

my AC has 700 skill now and i tested it with mithril reinforced and adamant studded (gloves and boots)...the reinforced took like twice the crafting time and still i didnt get significantly more points than with the studded which was much faster and gave skillpoints quite often too...i tested it both with orange items so that's not the point and i didn't take fails into account as these seem to be rather "moody" (sometimes 10 fails in a row than 4 pieces neatly done)...

so, any suggestions? I really dunno the faster or cheaper way but i get the feeling that the guides i read were not adequate for uthgard but only for live...

could some high AC tell me which worked better? ;)

Heho,

Isn´t studded and reinforced the same type of armor ?

You only get nomaly one point per item, so you should take the items which have are the fast or the cheepst.

The time you need for a item just depend on how many materials you need, so it isn´t important which material it is. So you can craft maybe cheeper if you take items they have lower material cost, but it will take long so you need more time.

I don´t really know how to craft in Albion, but normaly its just important that the items skill all skill you need, sometimes some items only skill only two skills instead of three for example Mid WC and which way you want to get the fast or the cheep.

ok, some name confusion here...

i mean: there is studded armor, boned armor, lamellar armor and reinforced lamellar...all of them "studded/reinforced" (the one with 19% absorb)

the idea i am talking about is from this page:

http://motogs.redemptionofdivineharmony ... gguide.php - see the AC-part

the most important issue here: the guide says that there's far more skill gains per try (like 2 times more (not on 1 item but on a series, e.g.: 10 items made, 5 gains instead of only 2 or 3)...

i tried it a little but couldnt find this true...any1 else got more experience here? ;)

thanks!
