I'm just wondering how common/useful/wanted wardens are on this server. I know on live now days you see very few of them, but since this server is a classic server I thought they may still be a good choice and an active class.

If this is the case, what weapon spec line is most popular with wardens? For some reason I recall having seen that maces were one of the best if not the best option. Any input is helpful!

Wardens aren't very popular here. Biggest issue is that they can't spec shield here.
Atm they got their spot in Hib Tankgroups but hard to get them into a decent Hybrid Setup.
With old RAs they will lose det and aog so might be even more worse. Even though they can be usefull in pbae groups then and extra resists and pbt are nice.
So free warden spots might be few, but you'll still be better off then champs or VWs :-)

Blades is better then blunt unless you solo and go 50 blunt.

blades would be better than blunt if the anytime combat speed style were working as intended, since it isnt, blunt will be better all the way

hmm, warden is equal then the friar in Alb. You can build setup with him in group as second healer for example, but a second druid/cleric has more utility. I would give it a chance, some ppl are bored from the 0815-prosetups and try to build special groups.

I just played heal specc friar in alb grp @ Glamorgan for a few months ago, it was just like hell.
I missed my heal instas and was oom most of time because the heals took so much mana to keep the casters alive. Well, I know its hard to start with RR1 Healer these days @ live servers and i know healers are not the best class choice for me ;-).

In my opionion friar/warden is ok in tank grp setup but in a castersetup you get a lot of trouble and need a really good grp with experienced players ;-).

No, for groups the sidesnare in blades is better then anything blunt has.

sidesnare from blades is 14 secs,

sidesnare from blunt is 19 secs tho is 2nd chain and first hit is combat speed debuff wich is very important too

like you said ... blade 1 style, blunt 2-style-combo ... 1 style is usually easier to land than a style-chain, its faster and more effectiv if you wanna play defensiv

just my opinion,

greetings, dia

i have a warden 50 blunt spec for soloing...

It's very difficult use the lvl 50 stun vs assassin or shield tank they block or evade me a lot...

i can kill assassin without stun but shield tank are impossible to kill with my warden, so i'm thinking to drop blunt from 50 spec to 50 composite and increase nurt from 38 to 45/47 for 6 sec pbt and increase parry too... it's a good idea ?

sorry for my bad english :D

Hi,

played a warden as main char on live, and it was fun but somehow also there I was not SO wanted in grps. My heals were not the burner, and my tanking damade neither, PBAE (6sec) was quite nice, but didn't make up for the benefits other chars could bring.
Soloing was quite nice, and in micro grps with NS we had some fun, BUT: Shild was specced really high, so I was getting quite a low damage with evade, block and pbae up. Without shield, I cannot imagine to have played warden at all.
I specced blunts, was best choice with full specced shields and 6sec pbae to get sth for the remaining points.

So: Warden is a quite universal class, I liked it a lot, but if u wanna go rvr there is better options. Thats what I think.
