Hello all,
is there a SM-hunting guide out there ? I'm lvl 15 actually and doing fine killing yellow blodfelg drengs in west svealand, but after this level i might have to find some other place. Any hints ? |

15-17 there's the svartalf camp near Huginfel, and also the deeper parts of Nisse's Lair
18-23ish, Cursed Tomb, get some armor/jewelry upgrades here 24-28 DF plated fiends are good, so are the deeper parts of Cursed Tomb, alternatively Vendo Caverns/Skona Ravine 27-30 Muspelheim skeletons, alternatively the lower skeletons in Uppland 29-33 Uppland skeletons/yetis/ice block guys, can also try Skona/Varulvhamn werewolves or svartalfs in Spindelhalla 34-40 Uppland icebergs are great (but bad loot), can go deeper in Spind/VV also, DF becomes dangerous at this point as you no longer con grey after 35 to gankers 41+ Raumarik bears/wights, Malmohus wolfaurs, if you are brave you can do RvR guard quests from 40+ note that these are suggestions for summ spec (focus pull) leveling, if you level as dark or supp you may have to search elsewhere the key thing is to find groups of non-casting monsters that are weak to shield damage (seems to be spirit type). |

@Isoup: thank you
Wieso hab ich den Thread eigentlich auf Englisch geschrieben |
|
Perhaps because any section apart from the German one requires you to do it in english? |

I'm sorry that i bother you that much with my german stupidity, that you have to roll your eyes. I will give my best not to repeat such. Thank you for asking me. |

Short Question, i'm somehow stuck at lvl 43 with my pet-sm. The Wind Wraiths are just to high atm (are the chillsomoe wights lower in lvl?). And bears... well. They are almost always camped, if not, theres a lvl50 every 10min killing your hole spot to make money Any good spot in Malmo? With the high aggro range you never really know if you're pulling 4 mobs or 14 Is it worth to do guard-tasks for xping, never done them, so no idea I use pet-sm to till some breaks or if there is nothing else to do (mostly 30min session), what means, i rarely run with healer/sham in duo |

in raum, chillsome are slightly higher than windswept on average. at 43 it is fantastic duo. if solo, stick to bears, better money anyway, it's true they are always camped (sometimes by me...) but often you can find quieter spots. there are some if you look around. those wraith/wights become reasonably soloable at 45+, although if you are very good at managing pet heals you can solo two of them at your level (but not efficient). Malmo, anything that is drakulv is good for focus pulling. yes the aggro range is very, very high, and also the loot piles up fast and it's far from any merchant so it's hard to stay there long. if you follow the left side of the map (frozen settlement -> drakulv camps(Burr's area) ->towards the lake but not past it) you should find plenty of good monsters to fight, but yes, you must be careful. remember that the last place you pulled is usually safe as monsters don't respawn TOO fast until you go very deep into malm. as for guard quests, it very much depends on RvR factors. enemy keeps in your territory? off-peak hours? few people doing guard quests? few enemies? in those situations it's just as fast to do guard quests for xp as it is in a good duo if you understand how to pull archers with pet properly. however, as summ spec (as most underleveled characters in frontier, but especially summ spec) you are effectively free rp's to just about anyone, but that comes with the territory. nobody except wallclimbers can do guard quests efficiently AND safely; although if you get good at pulling summ sm's can do them efficiently but not safely. 30 minute session, it takes just that long to get to a good spot in malm. raum is often camped. i suggest trying your luck with guard quests if there are good conditions, but alternatively you can try pulling the fallen defenders/undead vikings near Fensalir Faste (they will be yellow/blue, loot is not great but damage typing is favorable and there is plenty to pull) |
