i'm just curious, is there something special about 4.2 spd? cause it's the slowest weapon for 1hand and to get most dps from styled attacks?
(But dont know, if it is the slowest weap for mainhand  just a guess)

Greetings,

Basically sword or axe make no difference, since both are slash and since as SB most of your style will be certainly from Left Axe line or Critical Strike one.

Now as it was stated, the 2 side factors to consider are speed of the main weapon and loot you can gather as well as the utility and proc.

So far, most swords (crafted one and most of loot) are 4.0 and 4.2 for axes, beside the Basalt sword of anarchy which is 4.2 as well as a great tool for SB.

However, 4.0 or 4.2, ain't such a big difference and what you loose per hit might be covered by swing speed on the overall, except if you use a slower off hand than the usual 2.9

And since you ask for leveling, just take a fast off hand a slower main hand and keep envenom at your level (with bonus from item) and you should be good.

Regards,
Pirith.
