How much damage you lose with 99% im comparison to 100%? Until now I thought, the quality is multiplied somewhere in the damage formular, meaning, that there is a difference of 1% in damage, which is quite low.

Of course it's not just damage per hit, mp weapons also don't miss as much as lower quality ones. Mp weapons make a huge difference in daoc hence why they're called MASTERPIECES and are not that easy to come by. It's not just about imbue points

You must be new to daoc. Or in your case I guess weapon quality doesn't make a difference when all you kill is expers in df :p

lol wonder who is new and dont know basic formulas of the game, weapon quality dosnt effect hit rate so go trolling somewhere else noob.

I say the differance between mp and 99% is so small u cant measure it even if u hit a training doll 100 times and got an average and then did it 10 times with each weapon. The natural variance in the game will totaly scrambel the result and u cant tell one from the other.

The point is use MP´s if u can afford but use 33.5 oc on it as u will switch in 99ers and loose stats if u use 37.5 oc. My template is build like this and i can still have mostly all caped and +11 env in it.

Jonah is right.

MP is only better cause of higher imbue ... you really don't feel the 1% it gets lost in variance and rounding down calculations.

I prefer 99% MH so it's easy to get all the swapping weapons.
Not only for DoTs, you can reapply str/con when someone used purge.

On live many played with MH-independent temps but it's hard to do that here.
