i decided to play a shar Hero with 50 CS 42 Shield 6 blades and rest parry

have i good chances with this spec vs other players or should i specc another way to have fun in solorvr?
i dont know if the hero is goodsoloclass or only good to lay in groups like Blockmate ?
sry for my "stupid" questions but i didnt play daoc since 6 years and havent a hero on liveserver anytime

2h is the worst choice for a soloer on uthgard because:
1.) 2h damage is bugged (a bit lower than it should be). No actual proof of this but you'll see it when you hit someone for 150 damage with a 5.6 weapon.
2.) Defense penetration is bugged hurting slow weapons most (weaponskill counts for nothing besides damage), you'll get evaded/blocked like mad. Also blockrates are extremely high, basically anyone with a shield has moblock5 by default (even supporters can block several hits in a row )
3.) Fumble rate isn't livelike (you can actually fumble at 50 spec on uthgard lulz), again hurting slow weapons most.

Play a blademaster. Has everything a hero has + better realm abilities for soloing. Dual wield does more damage, halves evade/block chances and suffers a great deal less than 2h from the forementioned bugs. The only situation when it's worth playing a 2h tank on uthgard is when you're hitting a caster because you can actually... hit them.

Definitely funny. But not in a good way.

You are wrong. Mid 2hand damage is normal. 399 taunt style vs 28% res sced Theurg plus spec af +pala chant is low to you ? (

Other example: Arlen Highlander pole speced armsman hits vs pd5 (41% crush) up to 320 damage.

If by "Mid 2hand" you mean Warrior 2hand.

No but this topic is not about mid 2hand, it's about hib. Don't tell me I am wrong when I said nothing wrong. Mid 2handed weapons are not 2handed spec lines, learn the difference and try to restrain yourself when attempting to reply without reading the topic or the post you're replying to first.

Dont know what you are talking about but the stated damage vs 51% (41% after reinforced malus) is nowhere low damage. Zerkers hit me for 160 mainhands. We dont have buffbots here and people run with pots, maybe you know that?

He told me that he usually makes more than 400 vs rangers and nightshades. So he should two shot everyone in your opinion right? Almost 5 hits vs PD5 is pretty impressive. He makes almost double damage like some realmrank 11 skald. I have played a nightshade on live and even bugged rr11 svgs needed 3 styles for my nightshade.

Yeah that is pretty weak. Especially when you consider the facts that he probably doesn't have dq or haste buffs or that his weaponskill is 0 against a stealther's evade 7 or ranger's evade 3. I usually get evade streaks by troll zerkers, ogre mercs, firbolg bms and even had skalds evade 2 hits in a row, I don't even wanna know what it's like trying to hit a stealther with 2h on uthgard but it can't be good.

I fight more vs stealthers or dual wielder but I can say that the evade rate at least for a ranger isnt that good, even vs 2hand tanks. When the Uthgard randomness strikes it is possible to have chain evades vs any enemy.

I have played frontload Hero in the first few years on live and compared to that the damage isnt that good. However, he runs d/q buff and doesnt have any buffbot buffs (or at least any better buffs than pots/charges).

So i have more fun when i play a BM or a champ ?
Specc could be as BM: 42 shield 50 cd weapon 39 and rest parry and as champ 42 shield 50 valor rest in LW? /
