I've heard that Midgard does dragon raids with sixteen people and in good time (no clue about Hibernia though). With Albion I've only ever done public raids which were somewhere around the fifty through seventy people range. So I was wondering if anyone knows how many people (and perhaps the setup) it would take to do a normal dragon raid in Albion.

Well you cant tell cause it depends on what people you got.
RR & Skill/Knownledge of Dragon helps a lot.

Theurg, Caba - for Damage (Pets are counted as attackers and can help tanks hit the mob/Dot for damage)

Clerics (3-4 is good)

Merc/Pala/Arms

=> Every Cleric need protect from one tank so make sure u have enough.
=> Some ppl taking care of Adds - Minstrel is good for instant DD & Maybe Smite Cleirc XD

=> But 16 Ppl should be more than enough

Blindgaenger, as far as i remember we were 13 ;) i think u mean the DR that i organized backthen as i havent heared of anyone else doing smallman DR's on Albion (atleast not in the last 2-3 years)

In the last 2-3 Month i was doing 3 Dragonraids with my guild. On 2 Raids we were about 16-20 people and on one Raid (which failed) we were like 13. But even on the Raid with 13 people we would have made it if our Friar wouldnt have released when he died and people would have been little more concentrated (i think i nearly wiped the group too in that fight because i didnt react on a staring :D )

So what u consider for a smallman DR is that:

Your Maingroup should have: 3 Clerics (MCL+ some Serenity + PR would make it alot easier ..rezzing up fast is essential for a successfull smallman DR) 1 Shield Pala, 2 Mercs (Mercs simply do nice dmg with dual Shadows) 1 Reaver to guard the Paladin if he has agro and 1 Friar for Heat resis.

The second group should contain atleast: 1 Icewizard , 1-2 Clerics, 1 Theurg, 1 Sorc, 1 Minstrel

Paladins job in Maingroup: Protect on Reaver (Reaver takes lots of agro with Levi spam, so when Pala is protecting the Reaver Pala can build up alot of Aggro on himself)
Friar Job: Healing, rebuffing Heat resi after every Ressurection in the group, rebuffing buffs fast in general.
Icewizard job: bombing in the center of the hort (where messengers spawn when gole is on 50%)
Theurg job: petspam and DA+Haste rebuff, killing messengers
Sorc Job: pom recast, killing messengers
Minstrel job: killing messengers
Cleric job: dont over heal (dont take to much agro), rezzing up fast, rebuffing fast, always checking if pom and tinderbox are active

Tanks jobs in general: Protecting and reprotecting clerics after rezz. Intercepting the guy with agro ( clerics shouldnt heal that interecepted damage becasue its useful for the paladin to build up new agro with his heal chant when he lost agro by dieing or sth. Switching guard to the one with agro.

General stuff: Never pull Gole into the messenger group or clerics (so dont run there when u get stared aswell); always watch the chat carefully for stares; pull gole to the fallen tower when u took agro as fast as possible; announce stares in Battlegroup

last thing that comes in my mind now is that the Start is very important, very helpful to ensure the agro on paladin at the start is the realm ability Wrath of the Champion..its an instant pbae dmg spell that will deal about 200+ dmg on gole at lvl 1 i think, so u can pull gole to the tower and other people can take position
