How well would a solo RvR Druid do on this server? I am thinking maybe pretty well since we cannot bot,

I don't believe the buffs youl be able to get, along with a decent offensive spec to solo, will give you that big of an advantage. As most soloers will be running with at least 2-4 or more pot/charge buffs. Now yours will be of greater value. But they will not help as much, as your offensive capabilities will be spells and your pet. Depending how well the druid pet preforms, it will not be very likely to solo, unless the pet works well and you got a RR to survive. And then you got to remember, most of the solos will be assassins or archers.

But hopefully other druids can come on and let you know how well they are offensively on this server. But buffs by it self isn't going to be a big game changer, unless there is some kind of limit to buffs from pot/charges.

Well I was not strictly saying Buffs would win the day for me, I was simply saying I thought they would help along with a solid pet that is buffed. Basically I am just looking to see if Druids can solo RvR here like they can on Live. If so I am so gonna make me one since I am starting fresh here. I have a Mid Healer mid teens but I miss the Druid class. If they cannot slo RvR then I will stick with the healer and level up to 8v8 with it.

no, you won't be able to solo effectively.

Stick to your healer dude, 8vsX is the only viable fun on this server

Since Pets suck on uth, Nature Druid (the only solo spec possible) is worthless for 1on1 (your dots won´t kill anything fast enough).

Hm I've been trying higher nature and while the pet stuns enough its damage is abysmal so yeah you have to rely on DoT. It can work but it's gonna be really dependant on what abilities you and your opponent have ready. But ofc there's way better soloers.

Clerics, Droods and Healer can solo for sure!

When i started to Solo with my Cleric everybody was amused about - now most know i win about 70-80% of my 1vs1..

Im pretty sure u can do as well, just stick to your dreams and improve yourself every fight!

if i would go for a solo drood (lets say rr5l0) i would pick:

26 Regrowth
60% single insant, 50% Group Instant, 300ish Speccheals

30 Nurture
All over blue Speccbuffs, and average Basebuffs

36 Nature
Single Instant Root, AoE Instant Root, 35ish Specc DoT, highest Pet

Realm Abilitys:
MoC3, MoFocus3

Grab some Endu3 Potions, smart played u should be able to kill almost anything at Range. Close Combat u should be able to demolish any Class if your MoC is up, or if their Purge is down - also without MoC!

Melee Swing with 3.0 Mace should be around 40 + 20 (dmg add) VS Chain Armors, DoT should tick for 60-70 Damage, which is enough dps to kill!

Remember: Shaman and Drood isnt the same

The only damage come from Dots. Increase Dots with higher Nature and lesser Regrowth. With Nature over 40 and MoM 2/3 you should be able to hit for 95-100. Moc isnt that cool i guess cause you have no pemanent DD Spells like Smite or Timer DD/Bolt.
For a Cleric its fine (best example Arzt) but not for a DoT Class like Nature Drood or Cave Shaman.

A few Months ago i had a fight vs. a Solo Drood,- it was the longest 1v1 in my life

I dont see the Problem with the Drood himself.. Uthgard is the Problem for solo RvR..

Rofl. I'm sorry but this is really funny. What kinda retarded person do you plan on killing with a dot that does 350-400ish damage total and melee hits that do ~60 damage with next to no chance of landing them against uthgard's defense rates to begin with ? I'd understand if druid had disease here or procstyles or if pets did normal damage, but really I don't see how a druid could kill any class fast enough before dying himself.

Also RA advice from arzt and runental are terrible. Moc3 for what ? Maybe winning one fight every 10 minutes ? Mastery of magery on dots ? Do you even know how little damage he'd get from that ? Lol.

For soloing get RAs that actually help you like purge, bof, adrenaline rush and moc1 is more than enough (you'll use it just to root and run away anyway).

I think it `s possible but u need a perfect temp, good skill, patience much luck and an higher Realmrang for enough Ra `s to compare with other clases that outdamage you. Btw the pet only gets any improvement from ATS,- and af shieldbuff, other buffs are useless, so pet is gimped.
