Recently capped wilton, haven't bought procs yet for thid/50, looking for proc advice.

DDs/DoTs for weapons, logically a DoT should do more damage, but do they have the same proc rate? Do DoTs do more damage after it's ran the full duration? Or are insta DDs better?

I also considered 6 abla reactives, but it seems a bit excessive. Would Ablas on Chest/arms/legs, + dds on helm/gloves/feet be any good?

Useful advice only please, no flame

DoT procs deal more damage over time, while normal DD procs help you dish out more burst damage. Also, you may find Lifetap Procs quite helpfull, since with a bit of luck, you can get 3-4 procs off within one fight, which heal you for something around 200 Hitpoints.

Not playermade, farmed or bought.

For easy game, set up your playermade sc for lifetap proc weapons, and put maybe DDs on weapons and DoTs on armor for best efficiency. If you do not think to high about procchance, get DoTs everywhere.

If you play a dual wield classe, i advice you to put Dot on offhand and dd on main hand. the global deal is better

Hi,
I have put dots on armour (overall) and both weapons on my Ranger (48).
They do proc most of the time and is nice to die, and see the messages of killing someone :D

Btw I cannot actually confirm (needs testing) but my perspective is that weapons & armour dots stack up (even if same damage type).

I say that because an infil and a troll warrior last night being hit twice per tick, while I was dead.
(got attacked by their realm groups because they squeak for help while they were almost dead).

But if you want burst damage go dd on armour & weapons. Probably is better solution.

Sorry Fediu but thats a crap advice. DD+DD on the weapons and some dot procs on the armor or DD+Dot and DD/MHB on the armor. Done!

I would avoid DoT procs completely. They may break snare from styles (which might not be so tragic) and may also prevent stealthing.

No they may not. Unless you're talking about your opponent in which case it's only a good thing.

You can stealth when you have active dot-procs? Aren't you put in combat mode during this time?

You can stealth while having a effective dot on your target.
But not on you ^^

So, in theory, you should also be able to use an dot-charge and restealth after 10 sec? Would be crazy 8O

I currently think on Snare, Viper 3 dot + dot-charge, sprint, restealth, reapply posion and so on ...

that's the best way to kill some hrr heavy melee like Divin or Arlen, but against others you clearly don't need it ^^
