90% of Patch releases after 1.69 are:
-Intruduction of new zones and overpowered classes to get more money from players
-nerfing of those overpowered classes so that they wouldnt be SOOO overpowered
-increasing the efficiency of old classes for them to be able to fight on par with new classes
-lowering the gap between abilities of the realms, ie giving palas and warden cele, buffs and shieldspec, styleprocs for thane, same RAs for all 3 realms(biggest fault of them all, nothing against lower timers, better efficiency, rr5s but still the biggest mistake of all, giving sos, am, aog, ichor and bof to all 3 realms).
-making the game easier like enabling up to two songs/chants for some classes, introduction of harps, disbaling endu use on chants for pallies, destroying classic stylesystem by making almost all stylelines the same, buffs for archers in bowspecline, etc...

and the last, <10% of the patches balances out some older mistakes, like evade3 for hunters (who were stuck with evade2 since they got chain armor removed back then, dunno exactly when it was), making parry styles for nonparry classes chain off evade, and vice versa for nonevade classes the evadestyles to chain off parry, wizardupgrades, blockfix so that you were no longer facing 100% blackrates ocasionly, healspec casttime decrease, cure NS at 40 healspec and some more, not many but still some important ones.

Fortunately, or as in latter case, unfortunately we probably wont be seeing the bad neither the good changes mythic made in the following patches, on uthgard.

New zones = awesome. No argument about easymode op classes though (same as some SI classes when they just came out).

Good thing.

And on par with already existing classes. Or are you trying to say that classes such as hunter, wizard, friar etc. are doing fine as it is ?

Making the game more balanced is hardly a bad thing. All 3 realms are still very much different on live even if some classes got more abilities. It just made those classes less gimp (classic paladin = endu totem, classic warden = bard without mezz etc.). As it is a lot of classes don't even have a spot in groups because of how bad they are. Later patches fixed that. Same RAs on all 3 sides means no huge imbalance gaps caused by RAs.

Making the game better =/= making the game easier. The song/chant system is a terribly flawed concept. Making more weapon lines viable is not destroying the style system, it's actually an improvement. As it is some weapon lines are completely worthless and a few people spec them "for fun".
