chance for masterpiece is 2%. so on the average, you need 49 retries and get some 99% sets (8 on average) for free.

mat. costs for 49 retries are: 17p 791g 2s 63c (inlays included)

Yes but you cant see it that way. If you try a mp set, there will be a lot 99% items as a sideproduct. In the end it will be a lot cheaper if you can sell them.

2% chance of a MP is nice, but that doesn't mean you are sure to get one if you make 49 pieces

every time you make a piece you get 1 chance on 50....

so 98% chance to get 99 or lower...

next piece: same story...

even for 99% you can have a bad day and need 20 or 30 tries to get one..

just my 2 cents

hehe yes i thought 50 retries should be fairly enough, I have done leather mp st, leather is second cheapest stuff, cost me maybe 7 plat (I have my tailor so no mark-up) and i spent one week on it. on some things i have done more than 100 retries O.O

Learn your crafting lesson.. dont sell stuff for fixed prices you don't have ;)

Make it like pay per try.

I once met a crafter who had me fetch all the mats. I had to give him the mats for each try plus his profit. Everytime he finished an item he gave to me.. so I had to run back and sell it ^^

After all this is the best way to control the price.. and also the most convinient for the crafter ;)

yeah sorry i didn't looked exactly how much it would cost, i just imagine with the money i already spent in it...

but anyway i think if i had to do such a command, i would ask 40 platines or smthg like that cause it would be very very long to craft and i wouldn't spend hours front of my computer doing nothing. just for 2 or 3 platines that would be done in 5 hours with farming.

and you didn't included the fact of overcharging... with such an armor you have to do if you dont want to do a new one later... and so risk of explosion.
