Myself and a few friends from NA just started on Mid. First time playing here so we are starting from scratch. We will be starting a guild, if you see Amurica (me), Freedum or Pait on send a message if interested. We need 8 to start the guild. Maybe we can grow it into a decent English speaking guild on Mid.

I have to second this. There are a few decent sized English speaking guilds around. Imperium and my guild, Blitzkrieg, come to mind. I can't fault people who start on Uthgard from wanting to make their own guild and start from the bottom and work your guild up since that is what we did with Blitzkrieg but it can be very hard to do here. Too often I see guilds started here by new people that never make it to high levels or end game rvr. Another issue is retaining people once they are guilded. I'm not sure if this is due to the fact that people forgot how brutal, at times, old school Daoc can be or that Uthgard is free and since they aren't paying to play here they aren't compelled to log in regularly. I can't count the number of people that have joined my guild leveled into the 30's, 40's or all the way to 50 and just vanish never to log on again. Retention on Uthgard can be a huge issue.

Anyways to the new people to the server welcome. Hope you stick around! If you need any starter help and see any of my characters on feel free to send me a tell.
