Nature druid isn't a wasted slot, believe me.

What for would you pick a nature druid. No shears but a weak pet hm. Maybe cause of mighty lvl 28 insta root or lvl 36 ae root. Sure better than roaming with 1 druid
3 druid setup might shine a bit with old RA but atm you better go for a 2 druid + x setup.

3 druids is utterly redundant and would only make sense if you had to make up for a lack of skill on the druids part, to put it plain and simple. There is way too much overlap between those three players in terms of roles in fight (double healing, roots etc). Yes, Nature druid has some nice goodies, but it would never outweigh any other well-played class. Which however does not mean that such a setup could not work with excellent players and good communication - but those players would likely do even better with another class. Would rather use that slot for a heal warden, that at least gives you resists and useful RAs.

well your enemys arent stupid too
if you get a caster you need a deftank cause your enemys will split and only assist if they overlap or someone is mezzed, but there is still enough dmg done, its just splittet on more than 1 target.
vs mids e.g they split vs us and with caster and druid druid bard warden, where bard needs to rupt on the other side of the fight, there isn't much you can do. So you take a def tank. hmm but whom to kick then? you exchange one slot with 2? hmm kinda ******

with 3 druids at least one of the 5 supporters will be free so can help the others with root/mezz and heal ofc
yesterday we ran with 2druids + def tank it worked well too

ok you are right a good played eld can handle it.
but show me one pls :)
atm there is no good eld on at the times we play
gimme 9 slot grp and we run with eld :P

Setup without Eld is just way too boring to play / easily countered :) And we do not wanna talk about a nature druid, wasted grp slot. 8)

lol yeah, nature druid is a wasted slot. :wall:

it's not waster per se, but certainly not the best possible class to put on that slot. You should not use your group as a reference - being rr8+++ sure helps alot with any kind of setup. Not to mention that you guys, or most of you, have been playing together for a long time. This is just about the general discussion of solid/good setups. 3 Druids is not mainstream, for sure - and not the best choice for most groups either, I'd say.

We're not playing with 3 druids. We play with 2 druids and most of the time our second druid is nature specced. Sure it's "just" the pet and ae root. But it helps A LOT, especially against groups who kite. Also many groups cant manage to kill the pet. oO
So it's not a wasted slot at all.

Almost every setup can work if played well. We've been running without Eld (another bm instead of eld) for 2 days now and made 50k each evening, winning against alb and mid castergroups (but also losing really hard :D). It's more difficult without disease, debuffs and ns tho.

MB started running nature druid with a rr4 druid (Ragy) might had been oped.
Furthermore when they started running it they were changing setup with Saylam/Sati ~rr4/5 for both + Eld rr6/7... must had been really oped setup throught the rr only.

I like the way ppl think that all hrr char had pop in rvr with rr7/8+ ^^
