You will need composite 47 in envenom, for last st/con debuff. You must have composite 50 in stealth ever.
My edvice go 50LA and not high cs. Its harder evade asasins than other classes, then cs stiles are not so good vs them.

there are 2 things to remember in SB spec: stealth and venom only need to be composite 50. composite means base skill + suit bonus (max 11) and rr bonus (your rr minus 1).

rr4:
36+11+3 = 50
rr5:
35+11+4 = 50

left axe minimum effective spec is 44. i recommend 50 for damage bonus and 3rd backstyle chain.

CS is rather optional. it's definitely useful, but when you find yourself fighting a lot of archers you'll regret having it. also it reduces the cost of your temp by 10 fold to remove the need to cap CS skill. without this, sb temp goes from most expensive temp possible to pretty cheap.

and finally you'll want to have as much primary weapon skill as you can fit. i wouldn't take less than 35 or so. my rr6 spec is:

50 LA
39 axe
34 stealth
34 venom

i've always enjoyed this spec and it never feel underpowered vs other stealther in 1v1. this is a non-autotrain spec as i designed this char initally to be a keep climb griefer in braemar.

if u wanna play a serious SB go for full LA spec till rr5 and then decide: keep the zerkspec or respec to have more CS points reducing axe,envenom and stealth. but keep them 50 composite.

if u wanna play a easier stealther go for an infi, it has more points to spend in spec lines then a SB, but it has a big big problem. it's ALB

I love it, i autotrained to 40, i have composite 50 everything. I use lifebane, i have Perf with Stuning stab, comback and frosty gaze, over 50 compsite Left axe for high damage.

I don't know who was talking about CS styles not being good against other stealthers, but Garrote - Achilles heel makes mincemeat out of Inf's and Sb's. Its a rare day i get killed by assasins from Hib or Alb, regardless of RR. Ahem.... Hish..laugh...

Lets get it straight : Crit styles do have WAY higher growth rate compared to La styles ( except back chain maybe, but hey : the only way to use it is when ur enemy is either stuned or afk )

As an assasin you want to burst out max damn in minimal time, so : PA + CD + SS + Snowsqaull will be ur way to go on a perfect inc.

As you SHOULD know : Weaponskill is NOT WORKING on Uthgard...tested it myself and its TRUE.

So? WHY you want to specc high weapon? Why you want to specc high LA ( 50 la? I loled ^^ ) these points invested are simply wasted.

Garotte + heel is maybe the best anytime chain in game...why waste it by using crappy Doublefrost?

My specc with rr5 now is :

39 Crit <-- FULL Pa Combo
39 La <-- Stun evade chain
35 Stealth
35 Envenom
31 Weapon <-- only to get dmg variance to a minimum


I repeat : Weaponskill has NO effect on passive defense penetration here ( passive defense = evade,parry,block )
Your dmg penetration just like ur dmg is set up only by your STATS ( STR in your case ) + to hit bonus of your styles, what brings us to : USE high growth rate styles ( CRIT ) GET high STR = BE happy ^^

Crap. at rr4 u should go 10 cs, 50 left axe, 36 stealth axe/sword and 36 envenom. u dont engage often with pa, epecially at low rr u will not engage shield tank without purge3 so u dont need pa. u can engage with backstab and make the chain back LA

My Inf is RR4 and has 50 crit strikes. I engage very often with PA. But maybe I do something wrong

infi and sb are not the same garad =) u can spec 50 cs without lose dmg or stun and still do fine dmg. split spec at rr4 for sb is really bad

Infiltrator is the easiest stalther for spec if you do autotrain.

50 crit on infi WITHOUT losing stun? Dragonfang ( i guess ur talking about this one ) is impossible to get with 50 crit...unless u dont want to **** up rest of ur skills

At rr6 infiltrator can go 50 cs 50 thrust 34 stealth and 34 poisons.

in theory ... you need at least composite 40 DW to have decent swingrate and haste effect.

The question was about have 50 in cs and thrust, not about swing speed XDD. And i answered it.
