well they are nice in grp, i think its one of the few chars you can kill a target with in slam even with heal
the dmg spike they do is just enormous. I think its the best alb at with reaver + merce

Reavers are good but underrated, many players prefer getting a mercenary intead. Also they need decent RR to be efficient because they are really bad without det5/purge, while a merc can already do fine with just det4/charge. And they still suffer several bugs...

But I agree that reaver + merc is a great AT, and I find reaver really more fun to play.
I am assuming direct control.

if i were you i wont play reaver couse they are so boring to play(i am supose to be a gimp so dont bother with it) first of all i hate clases that can anytimer 8 sec stun and even benefit mreo fom it(levi spam) also dont like si classes to bad that blue dont even care for that and planing to add si zone (yes krondo and sidi is good places for raidng and so but they are jsut more pve issues(i only like dragon raids her even tough they are easy(blue you need to add goldi teleporting to giants on each %30 for more fun of it)

I always wondered if Cold Debuff AT in Albion might be worth a try.. Since Levi is Cold Dmg.. Theurgist Base DD.. And Body/Mind-Sorcs got a 15sec 35% cold debuff anyways..

Sure, reaver isn't really for you because zenobya doesn't like it. :gaga:

It would be worth a try in a 2-3 reaver at, but only with 50% cold debuff.
Full buffed reavers do around (yes around because style procs are still broken qq) 400 dmg just from levi proc, so its 200 (-200) on enemies who all have cold resistance buffs.
With 50% cold debuff it would do ~400 (-30) because of broken debuffs, and ~450 (+50) if they were fixed. XD

Btw having no stoi really hurts an average alb grp a lot so its better to have mercs fill that role.

I tried once or twice a usual alb setup like cleric x2, pala, sorc, merc , reaver, theur but last slot for ice wizz. If the trio sorc/reaver/wizz works well together this is just pure fun.

I'd say reaver is nice to pick as first toon cause you are both efficient in solo and in group. Even if is't a bit hard to be usefull for a group when you just left thid with your fresh 4L2. For race i'd suggest saracen or inconnu if you can live with their ugly face and the weird noise they make when getting hit :?

Yes it worth, atleast for Reavers since theurg just pets.

Disable sounds!

Saracen is best really. If your target purges slam the after-block chain is your best weapon. :)

In pve yes.

In pvp however landing the last (and best) cobra style in the off block chain can be quite a task, since not all of those styles have a to hit bonus and doing a 4 style chain on moving targets with defenses is next to impossible.

Your best styles for pvp are levi (back) and indigosnake (side) styles, but you have to move really well and time them right if you wanna use them as anytime styles.
