Trying to just get a level 50 on this server fast so that it can then provide money and gear for my main that I will level after. What is the fastest toon to solo to 50? Or what would be the best to duo with my ranger to get to 50? I can have my wife play to help get ranger to 50.

Quick answer to your question would be that you have several choices:

1. Full Mana Enchanter doing Focus Pulls. Has caster speed which helps getting around.

2. Creeping or Verdant Animist. Damage shield (casted bubble and abs buff if you go Verdant) buff(s) for ranger. Creeping offers less variance on shroom damage when dropping your Forest Hearts. Making one of these myself and plan on split speccing at higher levels.

3. Valewalker for non stop pulls with Lifetap. VW would hold aggro while ranger would dps. Also damage shield for ranger.

Number three would probably work best with the Ranger as it would give an you least interesting class to duo RvR with later if you choose to do so (would definitely be better in BGs, as RAs would help quite a bit in leveling quicker), but the first two are probably faster levelers. Enchanter might fit this as well. Animist isn't so great at RvR.

What class do you plan on rolling later as your main? If it's a difficult to level class, you might want to duo your farming/fast leveling class with that instead and roll the ranger later. Rangers can solo rather well with a high weapon and pathfinding spec. Plus you'll have money then to keep him in good weapons which make all the difference when leveling.

Depending on your Ranger skillorder a Bard would be a good choice for duo. I mean, if you are going to use Thrust and Celtic Dual for xping youre nearly like a Blademaster. With a Bard as backup, you have all Basebuffs + Endu + Heal, so you have no downtime while xping.

Doesn't verdant have pets that pbae? Or is it the animist that pbae?

Maybe I should do a NS and ranger duo for pve to 50. That way, if 1.69 comes out and rangers lose MoS while NS gets dodger, etc, then I can just switch the NS as my main for RvR if rangers suck.
