A norseman rm (gimp, reroll ) with 15 dex at start, 75 dex in template, red base dex and yellow dex/qui buff has 295 dex at lvl 50.

But as I see here: http://mortal.peril.org/jack/daoc/dmgcalc.html the difference between 295 norsemen dex and 315 kobold dex is 0,112 better cast speed. I think that doesnt matter really much.

Why did you even put +15dex on your norseman rm then?

What do you mean with zones and casting at the same time?

Lowering your spec nuke from ~1.75s cast to ~1.64s cast (0,112s faster) is ~6% more dps. Only that is a huge deal in my opinion. Its very frustrating to see your enemy get healed with 1-2% hp left. Every little increase of cast speed counts in the long run to make you better at your job of dealing dps, nearsighting, petclearing and occasional roots. Why give that up for 20str and 20con?

Frostalf is slightly more power conservative with slower but stronger nukes. Maybe it would fit you better if you dont care about fast cast speed.

Norseman or dwarf rm is bad except for roleplaying or trolling people because its bad.

Youre right. I just didnt know that its that important. But I wont delete my norse just because of this. He has style ;)
And of course I still think, that he wont be unplayable or have huge problems in RvR.

If you are skilled player race isnt really important. But its important when you play vs other skilled player.
