Something strange is happening in the realms...

Harbingers of an ancient plague rise again and break into the realms through a mysterious flash of light. Vile plague-monsters then appear, threatening to usurp the lands and slaughtering ceaselessly all in their path!

Somehow breaking through the barrier of time, these plague-fiends menace our realms yet again.

It is a call to arms; the realms are counting on you to combat this fiendish plague-brood and send them back where they came from before everything is razed to the ground. The threat is serious! And if you, defenders of the Realms, don't stop them, you are doomed.

Some of these creatures wear strange artifacts that our ancestors coveted: faintly sparkling small stones on the bodies of these creatures. Knowing full well about the power of these enchanted stones, our ancestors of old called them: Uthalis. The merchants of the old times were not to barter with silver, gold, platinum or mithril; they all desired only this mystic Uthalis.

Besides this, the repeated appearance of 'Uthalis' will still call to merchants, eager to line their pockets with this rare treasure. Many years ago, they had precious goods to exchange for 'Uthalis', and even today they still flock to the trouble spots in droves, risking themselves just enough for a chance to acquire that lucrative substance. And as long as there is supply, the merchants will provide the demand, and reward hansomely those brave adventurers that can bring them the coveted goods.

Prepare yourselves. Tend to your weapons and suits of armor, ready your staves and spells, and deploy for the sake of the Realm. Only you can stop these conquerors!
