Dear comrades,

i'd be very grateful to whom will give me the informations i need.
Which is the lowest cost for a house and for the npc vendor in it?
How much is the rent for such a solution? Is it weekly?

I'm in need to open a house with two other friends, for selling stuff purpose,
is it possible to create a character, give him money, let him open the house and
then give privileges to all our characters to put things for sale with our npc vendor?

Many thanks for the help

I just want to specify that i do know the theoretical base costs of housing:

lot: 300G
house (smallest): 1000G
Merchant+porch: 1500G

Total: 2800G

Is it right or on Uthgard those costs are different?
Rent for smallest house is 10G weekly?

Is it possibile to share the complete use of the consignment merchant with 2 friends, so that each one can put his things for sale and get the money for the things he sold?

Last question: the npc named Housing Informant, tell you how many spare lots are available in each region. Do i have to find those ones by myself, running around the interested region?

Thanks

I couldnt tell you for sure about the cheapest cost of buying a house, putting a porch on it, and putting a cm on it. I also could not tell you what the rent on the cheapest houses are now. I had one, but it was before they changed the prices and rent on the houses so I'm not for sure now. I CAN tell you, however, that you can have multiple people using a house and selling stuff on the CM. The problem with this is that lets say you have player A, B, and C. Player A puts 5 items worth a total of 2p on the CM. Player B puts up 5 items worth a total of 1p. Now lets say all of the items sell. Player A goes and looks and there will be 3p on the merchant. The problem is that he cant just take out his 2p, he has to take it all out. So if you are going to share a CM then you really need to keep track of what you are selling and for how much. Everyone else needs to do this, and you really need to trust each other. In the example above player A would just take out the money, and next time he see's player B on just give him the difference, but this does become more difficult w/ 3 people.

I actually had a buddy sharing a house with me for awhile and what we did was I told him to use Page 2 on the CM and I would use Page 1. If I seen money on the CM then I would look on my page and see if anything sold then go from there. It does work, but you really have to trust the people you are doing this with and you really need to write down what you are selling and for how much to make sure you get the full amount.

Incorrect. You can take specific sums of money off a merchant using the /settle command. The /settle command needs to be in (pp/ggg/ss/cc) In this case, if you wanted to take off 2 plat, you would type:

/settle 20000000 (2plat/000 gold/00 silver/00 copper)

I keep most of my gold on my cm, and just /settle when a character needs some plat. This way I never have to worry about trading gold between my characters.

One time I did get a cottage for free, someone wanted to move to a closer location to the housing entrance, but they had 2 years of rent on their house so they couldn't just let it disappear. And nobody wanted to buy the cottage from him as it was way out in the boonies. I still had to buy a vault and merchant/porch so I still put a few plat into it to make it a functional cottage.

I would like to thank all of you for the help given!

I hold on and waited the reverse auction of a lot in Jonad Coill to lower till 300g, then, the very first second it hit the value, i bought it. It all went flawless. I gave my friends' accounts full control about averything and we divided the 100 selling slots into three parts (33/34/33). With the command /settle, everyone is able to withdraw his own money! :P
We have a house that's only 20 sec from the housing zone entrance and we paid it only 1p each :D
