for champ/hero is large weps still the go to choice or are shield speccs viable as well? long ago on live I had a Luri shield/pierce champion that I had fun with untill changes made me have to switch to LW to compete

for a hero, celtic spear would probably be the way to go, for the sick back snare... although the wait to swing is terrible, so i hear.
champions aren't very ...."appreciated" in groups, here, probably due to lack of stoicism. EDDDDIT: you really wouldn't have to spec high in CS in order to get the back snare... so in all reality you COULD go LW, if you really wanted to.... i know ... those mallet things look cool. |

nope due to the crappy implementation/ uthgard related bugs. |

play what you want , ppl here on the forums tend to be incredibly negative about almost all the classes the game offers except for the same run of the mill classes that ppl roll here on uthgard over , and over , and over , and over , and over again...
sure some classes arent FULLY implemented but are still fun to play hell some are fully implemented and people will still say they are useless or broken cuz they dont fit into there perfect little group.. in the end it really doesnt matter, these forums represent about 15% of the population of the server so there opinion is limited.. Get in a decent guild and they will let you play whatever you want and RVR etc... |

IMO , hero = snooze fest, champ = more fun version of hero with less tankage abilities for more debuffs etc..

Id agree with above. As much as hero would be a good choice for perfect groups I enjoy chams lot more. Ranged nterrupts and you can still spec decent sheild like hero, you just lose out on stoicism. Ofc you jist get purge.
