What do you think? Is there any change that can be done to improve it?
My goal was to try to make a 100% capped TP without using costly Tajendi drops.
I preferred to drop myself my stuff and spend the money of one single "common" tajendi drop,
to get a full MP armor and weapons set, so to have more imbue points and don't have in the future, the
need to renew the equipment if i ever reach 5L0.

What do you suggest to put on the armor and on the weapons as proc/charge?
Note that the main hand weapon has already a Cold level 47 proc. damage, because the
crafter went wrong (and i took it for a good deal).
Another DD on the offhand?
Dot/ablative mix on the armor?
And on the bow?

Thanks for all the comments and advices that you will give me

(For the admin: please, leave this post in the main section a bit, before moving it into the Hib tp post, so that more people can see it
and post it comments :P )

Not much to add stat-wise, since it is all-cap.

If you manage to put in a ring of elements, for example, you get a charge-DD on your jewels and don't need to put it on one of your armor parts (in case you need one).

Chest: Imbue Points: 36.5
Sleeves: Imbue Points: 36.5
Helm: Imbue Points: 34.0
Leggins: Imbue Points: 34.5
Head: Imbue Points: 36.0
Feet: Imbue Points: 36.0

Limit for 99% is 33.5 IP, limit for 100% is 37.5.
I bet you can swap Gems on some parts so you can use at least 1-2 99% items, which is interesting since MP chest/legs are pretty expensive. But then, if you already got them I guess it doesn't matter.

And you got too much resists in your temp!
For example, drop the 9% energy on your sleeves to 7%, if your stats posted are correct you are 2% over cap both in melee and bow anyways!!! Same goes for matter on helm!!

That alone would let you change 2 items from MP to 99 I guess.

I know, but i wanted to keep the highest usability on those pricey pieces of armor :D
Tomorrow i might quit ranger and want to sell the equipment.
Infact, i'm gonna swap a couple of item gems so to bring the hightest usability to the most pricey
pieces like torso and leggings

What about alchemy? What do you suggest from an infiltrator point of view? I'm not gonna chase shades but i'm sure they'll chase me

Most people would suggest you to go with MHB mainly.

Personally, I am a big fan of DoT/DD reprocs. Think about it like this: The biggest downside of assassins is the lack of IP/PD and quite low absorb of armor (10% on leather). Their strongest plus is a combination of high-growthrate styles, high-dmg DoTs and str/con debuff which reduce your melee dmg. So, while you have a good survivability (IP, PD, RF, spec AF) as a ranger, they will constantly outdamage you.
Or put another way, every second that they live costs you at least 100hp if they play well. So killing them as fast as possible is what you should aim for, the longer the fight lasts, the likelier they are to win. They can counter your MHBs by just doing more dmg, but they cannot recover HPs that they lose.

On my nightshade I have dot procs (matter) on both weapons, a dot reproc (energy) on torso-drop and a mix of DoTs(matter)/DDs(spirit) on the rest of the armor. If you must, put MHB on torso (if you think it's too much dot), but the rest I would go for dmg.

Thanks for the very good point of view!

I agree mostly of what you said!

Unfortunately, lifedrain proc or reactive proc, don't work here on Uthgard, right?

So the better ones are MHB and dot, right?

Since my main hand stiletto has already a level 47 cold dmg proc, what would you put on the offhand? A dot or a simple direct damage?

On the armor, i was thinking to follow your suggestion, MHB on Torso, dot on sleeves, legs, helm and boots, and put some direct damage charge on the hands, to interrupt while nearing a casting enemy? Do you agree?
What do happen if a dot procs, while another one is already ticking? That the timer get a reset and starts from scratch?

Nope, not implemented. I wonder if healprocs will appear with SI, but implementation of SI will probably take another couple of years to release.

I would put dot.

Sounds good. You could leave boots free (they have, like hands, 5% chance to be hit, so not that important) and consider putting haste charges on it, if you don't have haste charges on your jewelry. If you plan on using crafted haste barrels, you can still put a reproc on it later.

Badtzmaru wrote:What do happen if a dot procs, while another one is already ticking? That the timer get a reset and starts from scratch?

Yes. Dot ticks for ~50dmg, DD deals about ~90dmg. So even if you overwrite your first dot after the 2nd tick or so, you still do more dmg than for a DD alone. Some people prefer few dots and many DDs as procs/reprocs since when you are lucky and get many procs, you might lose a bit dmg if you go with dots only. But IMO you shouldn't worry about the case when you get many procs :D. If you get few, DoT does more reliable dmg, which counts.
