Paladin Run Down

It's been a long time since I have played DAOC, and I came back currently playing a Paladin. Could someone give me a rundown on what I should be doing in a party. Which I usually try to spam dmg ass, end, rejuv but if I'm doing that I can't spam Enrage to keep aggro as I run out of end very quick. Could anyone just tell me what I 'should' be doing

Couple points. My belief is you should only be hitting enrage on initial incoming, breaking of mez/root on the BAF to gain initial agro, or emergency agro situations. If you're having agro pulled off you by grp members AND you're doing the below, then THEY'RE playing wrong and not either: a) letting you gain sufficient hate, or b) don't know their class enough to not over DPS/Burst and break your agro. Between using a taunt style/heal chant, agro should rarely be broken unless someone is jumping the gun. Having heal chant going during the intial pull will also help increase hate. |

As a paladin, leveling 5-48 you should use crush (at least 5-40). As this is by far the best weapon choice for both pvp and pve untill your final PvP template where you have 42sheild (9s stun style: slam) and you can choose between
crush is superior: as it has lower endurance cost styles, especially the lvl 8 taunt style which is low end cost anytime this style then leads on to the lvl 15 6second stun style. these two styles are absolutely perfect for a paladin lvling and in the low lvl battlegrounds! With 42shield for 9second anytime stun style have: at least 44thrust for the snare (v. group orientated) or at least 29slash (best solo with amethyst slash v.high to hit bonus anytime) http://daoc2.catacombs.com/cbuilder2.cfm?Paladin |
