First thing you did wrong is that you did not read the error message ^^
You have to set the Path, where your Daoc is installed at in the Daoc portal options. [01:18] <[NoXmas]Ara> dann zwing mich mal um rl :)
[01:20] <[Uth]Nayru|away> .d &jail in aragorn [01:20] <Uthbot> msg: Jailed aragorn in! |

I put it all in under custom server. DId stuff other people said worked for them. But it doesnt for me...

Idk why you made an entry in custom servers but nvm as i said before you have to set the Path where your Daoc is installed at! click on File->Settings and then enter the path under Daoc Installation. [01:18] <[NoXmas]Ara> dann zwing mich mal um rl :)

I have done everything stated in all of the previous posts, but as soon as I launch it, it loads all the way to the end and does nothing but ask me to hit escape to exit leaving the following message:
The client could not connect to the server specified. Either it is not online, or you used a wrong ip/port. If these are not the reason, you may try to update your client to an EU version, as this error is also displayed if the client is not supported by the server. I tried the custom shard route, still didn't work...any ideas? |

Your problem is V1.110. You need a 1.109 game.dll until we fixed DAoCPortal.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
Every bug gets fixed. Sooner or later. "It is an inescapable law of nature that the amount of satisfaction one gains from achieving something is related to how hard it is and easy things can only elicit a fleeting superficial sort of pleasure." Blue says, "you used macro tools or macro keyboard" Pala says, "i am disabled. and i have a mechanic left hand that can be programed. its hard to play woith one hand" [Appeal] Bxxxxxxxx: "why is RA first aid cann man i stealth use and not unstealth cann man ra if man use unstealth ?????????" BannedUser: "i was not using automate game action my hand was fall on keyboard during i was sleep .... i was completly fall on keyboard ..." |

Hello blue i am having the same issue as sikwokmoves as soon as I launch it, it loads all the way to the end and does nothing but ask me to hit escape to exit leaving the following message:The client could not connect to the server specified. Either it is not online, or you used a wrong ip/port. If these are not the reason, you may try to update your client to an EU version, as this error is also displayed if the client is not supported by the server. My question is if i have V1.110 where can i get 1.109 or how long until you guys resolve the issue? uggghhh i really need to log back in thanks |

doesn't require you register on someone's forum to download it. |
|
1) you arent registered on this forum? (you are, therefore it is required you register on someone's forum, not that it is a big deal.) 2) the other forum is free to use just like this one, and has proven to have good uptime stats which can and does complement this forum. 3) it seems you are bitter that you havent been given credit for posting.. you have, see the other post. good day ![]() grum |
