Hey I just started here. I was wondering how fire wizards are here and if there any american/english guilds around that would recruit me. Also one last thing about how long play time will it take me to get to 50

Wizards are probably the worst class with uthgard settings, they have 0 utility compared to other alb casters, damage isn't great as all your enemies will have at least 42% fire resists and bolts are bugged (low damage and they miss half of the time).

And to get to 50 it's about 1 month if you play without too much nolifing

Fire Wiz = worst possible class in the whole game (at current Uthgard state)

as Hedra already said for 2 main reason:

1) the server is in a patch state where wizzies were virtually underpowered, but when this patch was on the live server, the community was still too newb to notice it (the gameplay was different and more "random") - they got buffed in the following patches, but Uth is frozen on an old patch.

2) Their most important spell is bugged - Fire Wiz = pure damage dealer ---> bolt his best spell ---> bolt has bugged (reduced) damage = fail

If you wanna play a "normal class" just pick something else, beside wiz they r all good. If you wanna avoid any "less welcomed class" you might also wanna discard Armsman, Friar and Mincer, they arent bugged, underpowered or anything, they r just a lil bit less wanted.
If you just cant live without playing a wizard go for it, you ll be able to have fun for a couple of months exping and playing battleground until level 49.

So I guess ill roll a reaver . Lol so again how are they?

yeah wizzards are very unpopular, but if it comes to a relic fight you cant have enough earth wizzards

Reaver is good but not the most wanted class, some people will prefer to get only mercs cause of stoicism and charge. Personally I like reaver in groups but I don't really play atm so I don't know how easy/hard it is to find groups as reaver now:D
They suffer of a few bugs too but they aren't so game-breaking ^^
