I've played Live off and on for years and Uthgard for a little while. I'd like to give Albion a try but I have just a couple of questions. I don't mind leveling at all. It gives me a chance to meet new people and explore some great classic areas. I'll be coming in broke and would like to know what would be the "best" choice for a first toon. Most times I solo since my hours are a bit limited and sporatic.

1. Is 3 in spirit, rest matter for a cabby still the best to leveling and minimizing downtime?
2. Is a friar a good choice? I don't expect to be wanted in RvR but equipment cost could be too high?
3. I prefer melee like a merc or reaver but once again gear costs might be too high for a 1st toon.

Go with a merc, easy to lvl, even solo and most needed class in common setups. Dont worry about temp costs, they are pretty low on uthgard anyway and with a merc u ve a decent raid class as well.
