But you have to respec 1 at lvl 44, and then 1 at lvl 48.

What i itended to do is AT to 40, respec line to get Instru, play in wilton (or xp) until 43.5, the respec line to remove instru, and go back to spec with AT instru until 48. At 48, no need to respec in this case. If u want to play with instru from lvl 40 to 48, then yes, u have to use 2 respec line  RIP : Ectoplasme

By the way, it's tough to play without instru after lvl40, so my first question was to know if it worths or not to AT from lvl 40 to 48 only to get 33 in stealth instead of 32. >>> Please click here and Save the Pandas! They need us! They need you! <<<

I AT'd completely solo to 48, as my first toon on the server. I helped a friend AT his minstrel by giving him respec stones every 4 levels.
Doing it the solo method is a pretty big grind, however you can chain pull yellow-oj mobss quite easily. Of course your music is almost nonexistant, by wearing some +music items you can charm and hold some low level mobs that heal (filidh, druid) and take them out to Lyonesse. Park it at a camp, put it on passive, chain pull mobs and let tat little mob work her butt off chain healing you. Try to stick with something weak to slash/thrust, whichever spec you are. And fwiw inregard to stealth, either 25 stealth or 0. Anything else just doesn't make sense. A little more stealth will make next to no difference vs assassins/archers. I've had numerous groups run over me and try to find me with 25+16 stealth, a few have been sharp enough to pop me, but you should generally be stealthed long before anyone gets close anyways. You are saying that stealth doesnt really matter between 32 or 33 so? as you said that 25 in stealth is enough.

Exactly. The difference of stealth between 25 and 32-33 is minimal and not worth the tradeoff you gain by putting those points in weapon. You will maybe be 5% harder to find then if you had 25 stealth. You will be highly visible to any assassin and any archer regardless. If your plan is to stealth around MGs, then your primary role is basically as bait. Once a stealther pops you your partner would jump them, then you're free to apply dmg or cc if there are more stealthers (when aren't there). I've had rr10 SB run right over me on horsepaths while riding out and not even know I was there, but this is more about the speed+detection mechanic in DAOC. That means that AT is worthless, cause AT:

Maybe you're misunderstanding me. I said anything other than 25 or 0 stealth is useless. There is no reason to have anything other than 0 or 25 stealth imho. The difference between 30 stealth and 25 stealth is meaningless, you gain almost nothing in terms of stealthability. The only reason you would go to 25 is for the climb walls, obviously. Of course the 25 stealth also allows for more flexibility in play, there have been times when in an 8man I would stealth on inc, then demezz our group. Or I'd stealth, wait til the other groups train is on a target, then pop out and mezz peel after their charge is down.
And fwiw, fully AT'd, my spec has always been: 50-Instruments 36-Slash 25-Stealth By fully AT'ing, the entire additional AT points were put into weapon. Should I ever decide to drop stealth, I will be able to respec to 44 thrust for the 2 style anytime snare. You can't get that without fully ATing if I recall correctly. You only need 40pts (not 77) to spec 50 instru/44 weapon

for 50 enst 44 weapon you need to AT till lvl 36, if that's your goal you dont need more points to train some more stealth. Becouse 25 stealth is impossible for you and less then 25 stealth has no use.
the other options are; 50 enst 25 st (climb wall) 34 weapon (37 if you AT till 48) 50 enst 30 st (safe fall 3) 30 weapon (33 if you AT till 48) AT till 40 is not that hard. My choice was doing it till 40, using free single respec to train enst. then using respec stones before 44 and 48. even if you are broke, you can join dragon raids for stones after 40. |

so if i dont going to AT til 36 for being able to specc 50 44, the mins will be "gimped" @ grp-rvr? its kind of sad because w/o AT i dont have any chance to get 50 44 and it seems that the 44th style is important. Atum / Talmar

You don't have much chance to be invited by groups as a minstrel, you will be soloing and joining stealth groups most of the time. Go for 50/44 only if you have a stable guild setup. Would be gimped without 44 thrust? no, you still can cc/demez/rupt like crazy but if you are gooing for group spec 44 thrust is awsome to have in pocket.
