Re-download DAOC completely Do not install ANY mods Try to log in |

Well... if you keep helping me I'll keep trying to fix it... but this one did not help. I deleted all the files from the daoc folder in the appdata folder and in the documents folder. Are there any others? besides the game files 
Tried this too but also here it remains the same. I can log in all my characters except for Neinnon my healer. I was looking to the register, but I can't find any traces left there related to DAoC, but then I don't think DAoC uses the register does it? |

I have to go on a trip and need my game to work before I leave
(long evenings with nothing to do) So if there are any last minute things you want me to try before I re-install my computer? I will re-install this evening if we can't make it work by then. Sorry for not being patient about this |

It must be something related to that healer char. Have you tried installing DAoC in a completely new directory?

Yes first I moved the folder and renamed it. When that didn't change anything I Deleted every file I could find that was related to the game and re-installed it in a new folder, even outside the program files folder. |

how are u connecting to the server? do u use daoc portal or connect via connect.bat? if first: maybe its daoc portal, that has some issues?
...and when u say "login"...do u select your healer from somewhere outside of daoc via quick login? or do u get to the char selection screen and then u select the healer? if so: can u "see" the healer or are there and graphics issues? i had a similar problem when i played at work and in the end i found out it was some graphics options, that were strange....changed them and it worked again (i dont have a clue what caused these graphics issues though, as i didnt change any equipment or stuff)... in short, some more reasons: 1. way to login (daoc portal, connect.bat etc.) 2. way of char-selection (quick login or char-selection in daoc-char-screen) 3. graphical problems maybe these ideas help...  |

I am 90% sure now what cause this.

If you don't have such a "Wtouch Service" look for equal services and kill em.

No such service on my computer and I tried to disable all services that remotely reminded of an iPad, IPhone or iPod service. Still no good

However it was the case for Vomi and removing this service worked for him  even if not logical! @miromann - Are you 100% sure? Do you have any hardware installed such as a pen or drawboard? Got any questions? Submit them to me and I will try to get them answered in our grab bag !

I just started re-installing my os... But I want to say thank you for the effort you put into solving this issue. When we end up searching for services that might interfere with the game it's very hard to know what to look for. I'm sorry I don't have the time to keep troubleshooting. But if it works after the new os install I will let you know. And if the issue return I will let you know what I installed to make the problem surface again. Thank you for doing a great job giving us the thrill of classic DAoC
