ForumPaladins? good or bad

I was curious how good they do in rvr on this server. Im an experienced player and do well in rvr. Is it worth it to make one?

A good Paladin is always bad for the enemy grp
 . Even as solo char they are nice, during my solo bard runs i avoided paladins as good as possible because i cannot outdmg them in fullmeele and it suxx to kite them  .Good skilled, perfect templated paladin is imo good. "Lieber stehend sterben, als auf Knien leben". - Dolores Ibárruri Gómez

Aye, Pallys are a great class. They are needed in Alb groups and can be a very tough matchup in solo play if played well.

fun class, can always find someone to group with, and very safe while lvling solo.

Clinging to the coattails of this post. Anyone know the real differences for a Sarc Pally vs a Highlander Pally. Thrust is a needed line for rvr paladin right? So wouldn't sarc do well or is the str/con loss too much?

well the % of block that is higher as a sarcacen is about 1-2% not very much, just the difference that he can slam / snare faster. a highlander would have more hp and weaponskill (not for damage ofc but before defense penetration isn't implemented higher "weaponskill" gives no advantages). |

So then Highlander thrust pally? I'm sorry to deluge with questions but I eventually want to level one for RvR and i'd rather get it right the first time, not sure how much AT is worth it either though seems to be the difference of some parry points but... having 12 parry eh *shrugs* advice? Basic builds? Thankyou in advance for all the info

well I went saracen, I like small races and I think I was mistaken for a caster few times when being tab targetted. But doesn't happen often when you have big ass chant effects over your head.
If you can autotrain good, but if you can't, I would suggest you autotrain to at least level 7, you will have 2 point which I think will come in handy (I wouldn't be able to get my spec without these two points). |

is it true, blockrate on this server is a good deal worse as live like server?? Or is anything fixed to this problem

I think it's the other way around because of broken defense penetration. So you will actually block more. |
