I'm level 35 at the moment and full matter spec but I plan to be tri spec at 50 and RvR actively. Which RAs should I be picking up first?

i dont play trispec, but imho MoFocus2 is important for trispec, as all of your spells are 30ish, which leads to more resists ...otherwise i guess things like moc, if you're higher, or dmg-RAs should be fine...long-wind1 is never a bad choice and maybe mcl, depending on your playstyle

I would take lw1 sere2 dex3 mof2 purge1 and mcl1 as starting RAs. And then u can decide if u want to take mom/wp or pd next.

and to answer you: i prefer spirit cab over trispec but thats just my personal taste

Were any actual tests done regarding this?
After I've joined the server, I've heard:

a) MoF works
b) MoF doesn't work
c) MoF is bugged and actually works reversed, thus lowering spell lvl

I regard c as crap, but really in doubt about a and b...

hmm... but if they know how the formula works on Uthgard, it means that MoF does something. The question then is if it works like it should, meaning if it works like it does on Live.

But I mean, all you need is two RA respecs, and then get MoF5, vs. not having it, and spam a lvl 10'ish spell on some yellow mobs. 50 casts should be sufficient evidence if it works on Uthgard or not. And if it works, there's no need to test Live, if not... you wasted 2 RA respecs

You'll earn a lot of casters gratitude, just not sure how well gratitude converts into plats

tested with mof1

I found out:
a) i'm a noob
b) i need by far more hits :X
c) there are some hits recognized that can't be there?!?

its a torture to count all that crap with notepad++ but i failed at installing a parser from google :X
anyone has a better tool maybe?

Well, the higher MoF you test it with, vs. not having MoF, the fewer casts you'll need to see if it has an effect or not.
With MoF1, you'll need a lot more, than with MoF4+.
Besides, not sure if I'm wrong, but I've got a hard time seeing which part of the test is with MoF1, and which isn't with MoF1.

Anyway, if RA respec prices ever drop on alb, I wouldn't mind supporting casters by testing it myself.

My only goal for the test would be to see if MoF does anything, or nothing. After that test it makes sense to move on finding more details.

but you can't get higher than lvl 50 with the spell lvl at least thats what i heared :X
