Good players don't need a macro to play Minstrel, Paladin, or anything else. ;)
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> You have to be a c*** to be awesome at daoc
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> that's what I learnt

The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!

well no one really needs a macro to play but it sure does make things easier and does no harm to other players...

ban topics are not open to discuss on forum (only PM to GM - but there is already a statement that your ban stays...). i guess this thread will be closed soon...

btw... if you like it or not - you accepted the server rules and if you break the rules you get a ban, because the GMs enforce the rules. you're a guest on this server, not a paying customer (as magicco said).

Locked. For future reference, the rules clearly state the following:
§7.1 Prohibition of hacks and tools
The usage of hacks or exploits will lead to the permanent ban of all accounts of the player. This includes radar tools, speedhacks, macrotools (leveltools) and sniffertools. In such cases the ban will be set without any notification of the player. Programmed hardware (keyboard, mouse) or the usage of other tools (even a small stick attached to the keyboard to continuously press a key) that causes the character to make actions while being away from the game are affected by this rule and will have the same consequences.

However, if you are certain that your case is exceptional, you may appeal against the acting GM's decision:
§2.11 Penalty calculation - "second instance"
The penalty calculation and decision are in the free discretion of the acting staffmember. This includes the kind of punishment as well as the duration. If you do not agree with the penalty, you have to talk to the acting member of staff about the matter. If this does not help, you may contact the administration as “second instance”. Write an email to nayru [at] uthgard-server.net or send a private message in the forum. You may not post or discuss the problem in the IRC, forum or other community parts. Such behavior won't be tolerated and will be punished.

At any rate, please refrain from discussing the decision of the acting member of staff publicly on the forums.
