Hi,

Long time no played my menta, he has 740 in alchemy... it was made for the "barrel good old days". I need money, what is the best for me ? Respec as tailor+salvage craft (btw which one is with tailor ?) or stay alchemist and keep going (it is expensive to go legendary) ?

The decision is up to you - getting an alchemist to LGM will be VERY expensive, but so will any other trade skill. If you want to go for a tailor, don't forget that, in order to be a good salvager, you'll have to get your metal- and woodworking skills up to 1000+ too (for lossless conversion of highest-level mats into trinkets and/or gear). Either way, it'll all cost you double-digit platinum figures.

IN any case, you are better off rolling a new toon for the new craft profession. Alchemist is still useful and you don't want to throw away 740 skill points (hours of mindless clicking ^^)

I have a house with 2 vaults, where my alchemist works tirelessly to stock up.
So when I rvr, I can quickly pop by my house and fill inventory, and fly out again :)

Having an alchemist is not a bad thing, also check housing, often certain pots are never for sale.
Albion and having fun

Oh god... even a salvager only ?

... I will stay alchemist and do some pots for myself or try, as Spivo said, to sell it. And to make money, I will humbly do old school farming or raids.

Off topic question, is it better to farm solo saphhire in df or to go in the dragon zone ? With my SM 49, I can farm orange mobs in Malmohus and it gives 2-4gold per monsters (+ stuff... but I wont make a salvager yet; after reading you). On the over hand, farm yellow in df gives less gold but some seals which I can sell to ppl.

Anyway, thank you for your answers.

If i remember right, reaching a skill of 1000+ on a tailor for salvaging costs about 2-3 platins.
