Imo there is no way around moc3 pd3 to have good odds vs stealthers every 10min.
If moc is down hope for some visibles :)
Concentration wont help since there is no 2. CC you could cast with it.

just dont use root unless extremely necessary, desease + stun pet + kite and maybe your opponent wastes quickly his purge

if u root something on u, immediatly sprint + run, if u are lucky u gain ground in that second even if he purge, then hope in a stun to make u cast desease etc...

there arent much things u can do, i played in this way.

u r pen n paper daoc just does not work this way. an assasin will use snare poison and will always ve purge up. and u ll die to every assasin who purges and snares u unless u drop moc.

theres no immunity timer for desease, keep him deseased (and pray to have purge up as well for snare)

sure...but it's hard to survive long enough to sprint away from the sb/ns being diseased (u gotta qc-disease them before)...

only real chance is pet-stun imho and it worked quite often for me...however, as i said before, it doesn't much more often...moc3 with buffs really seems the only viable option...really gotta test that...with d/q and dex buffs the debuffs will make more sense, as u get of more debuffed hits before u gotta reapply debuff...and int buff will greatly increase dmg, which i lacked often being unbuffed...

when i had a chance to try running buffed for a time, i'll get back to the thread and report...will take a while though...no time for playing right now :(

seems like this thread isnt looking at RAs or items for a solo cabby anymore,
its more people trying to give static responses to daoc's endless rvr variables...

if you want to look at something conclusive about 1v1, just see that as a visible class you're already at a disadvantage for not being able to choose your fights and that out of the casters cabalist is probably one of the worst.

pet doesnt heal or intercept.
no active escape, damage negating, or healing realm abilities.
no speed.
4 forms of cc, but after root is purged any snare, disease, or stun can effectively stop you from gapping your target.

the only thing that sets you apart is having lifetap, but at the same time if you want to use it reliably you need moc3 and purge2.
regardless of buffs, healthregen, ablatives, and whatever else you can think of to prolong a fight,
I doubt any will last long enough to put good use to disease or concentration.
in the same case a sorcerer would most likely be infinitely better..

pretty much sums it up and yes, this isnt about RAs anymore, as I had to accept that caby isnt good for stealther-hunting :D

well I am not sure what RA's to tell you to get but I can say that I would never waste any RA points on toughness the math just doesnt make it worth it. A couple hundred hp added on the top doesn't compare to the added % reduced by an extra level of PD on every hit. So i would forget toughness completely and put the points in any of several other RA's that would help you like PD,Purge-2, Aug Dex an extra Quick cast etc.....

also if you want to solo then full body is the way to go the spec life tap returns a lot more health and with moc 3 it might make a difference.

cheers bro

could u give link or something? tried searching but nahemah only drops 1 staff for friars (friar only, so no use for other classes) which doesn't have a dex proc :)...and i guess the proc is not very long...only 30s to 1 min or something...active procs aren't that long usually...

ok found it...but it's friar only :)...it's 10 min though, wow...
