Hello everyone. As some of you may know, I've been leading DR's on Mid for quite a while now. For a while, we have been doing 1-2 raids daily. Now I don't have that much time and I will only be doing them during weekends(for the most part). There will not be a fixed time schedule, so if anyone wants to attend, send me on Fridays on Ivann/Dende or spam for me on broad. There is a minimum number and a maximum number of people I will invite(+2-3 players tops if regulars send me at last minute, for everyone else invitations are closed).

New looting system is implemented from now on, which might not be fair to someone but I don't really care, because I am the one organizing, searching for people, spamming macros, typing like a retard(mostly to people who already did some raids, sadly) etc.

Basically, we roll on items as we did before(everyone can random on any item I show or choose not to random, but once they get something, they need to wait for everyone to win something and then they can roll again). However, there are some new things from today. First of all, people who did not attend at least 20 raids will get minus on rolls on Dragonstorm, Dragonscale bracelet and Dragon bone bracer. They can roll on anything else with no penalty. I've decided on this cause it happened more than once that a person comes once, gets a good item and never shows up again, and I have people who did like 230 raids before their first DS, and I can still count on them.

Update:

You will start with -20 on all rolls on those 3 items with your first raid and for every raid attended you get +1 to your next roll. Example: You've done 3 raids so far, so you get -17 on DS/Dragonscale bracelet/Dragon bone bracer on the next raid. I know it does not sound like much, but if you are lucky enough, you can win. Once I gave some guy -10 cause he almost wiped the raid twice and he still won a DS. Also, many people won DS with like 70-80 roll so I don't see this as a problem . Took me 130+ raids before my first DS, and Ronk did 230+ before his first, Flump did around 500 raids on his toons and won DS only twice.

Also, if at any raid more than one of these items drop - Dragonstorm/Dragonscale bracelet/Dragon bone bracer/Hauberk of Valhalla/Azure soul quencher/Brutish brawler's armguards, I will keep one and put it in a special vault I will have for such things. Same goes for respec stones, if any of the stones drop in a quantity larger than 7, I will keep the additional ones. Stones I will mostly use to give to people who would end up with a mentor pot(which happened a few times when we had a lot of people, and loot was really crappy). For that purpose I will keep 5 stones of each kind at all times, any extra stones go in the same vault as additional items that dropped.

Once a month we will roll on additional items(stones and other items in the bank). Ten players with most raids during the past month will roll on these items. If more people are tied for tenth spot, they can all come and roll.

Update: If you have won any of these items(except stones) within the past month, you cannot roll on them. Example, you've won a DS on January the 5th, so you can't roll for the additional one(if you will be one of the people in the pool of players who roll for additional stuff). Once we roll on them and distribute them, statistics reset and we start from 0, as I've said earlier.


Point deductions:

I will give anywhere from -10 to -20 or even minus one raid in notebook to anyone who slacks. Now, lot of people will make mistakes and I will not deduct points most of the time, because there are a lot of people that did dozens of raids with no mistake, so I will assume they were drinking last night, were distracted or what not. Also, if you have a real life inc your points will not be deducted(even if you wipe the raid). However, please do not use real life as an excuse for slacking. If you know for sure that you will have someone coming over or a lot of spam at home during the raid, please do not attend the raid at all.

If you do not speak English and you are not certain what are you supposed to do, I will ask someone who speaks your language to explain in best possible way what you should do. Also, I have encountered a big problem with some people. They do 5-6 raids in a row with no mistake, and when I relax and think they can think for themselves, they screw it up. I do mistakes as well. Sometimes I missclick a macro(no, I will not qbind the damn dragon raid macros on every toon) due to quick bar changing or due to stress. Please, do not follow my macros blindly. I will missclick something only once, and every important macro I will click two or three times, so pay attention to that. Also, use your own eyes and brain to read the dragon messages and act according to that in game. Some people did dozens of raids and still do dumb mistakes, I will not tolerate that unless I know you were drinking or something. Again, if you know you will be distracted with RL, do a favor to other people who joined the raid and don't attend that day.

Skalds:

Most of you know what to do and what not to do, so I will not go into details here(since I will explain it in game anyway). Please pay attention to one thing - DO NOT BE EDGY OR TOO FAST ON FINGERS! It's ok to press SOS 1 sec after my macro, most of the times it's for the best. Also, do not use AOTG before you are in the main group and if dragon AOE is close, do not use it until I say. Please, wait for new celerity before you use AOTG. When I say next skald - <your name>, disband from the second group even if you are hitting a wolf and come to me for invite.

That's about it, I will explain everything else in game. Again, please try to read what dragon says and have /say and battlegroup channel enabled at all times. If anyone thinks the looting system is dumb or that I will not keep a fair statistic, feel free to lead your own raids, nobody is forcing you to attend.

Now, some of this might not be perfectly clear, but keep in mind I have some work to do and I am in a bit of a hurry. I might edit this text later on. See you at the dragon lair.

sorry but imo , all should roll on every drop , they all do same job and all should be able to roll on every drop , even if they win what they want and never come back to your dr

Lindsay, I respect your opinion. However, I do not think you would think the same after organizing 200+ dragon raids. Not everyone does the same job. Many people slack, do mistakes and I still don't give them minus on rolls 99% of the time. Also, if there are people that I can count on at any time, even if they are about to go to sleep or whatever, and some of them even relog a toon 5 times because someone else joined so they switch to another class etc., then I respect their effort and they should have a priority on some rolls. Anyway, 90% of people who attend these raids have already done 20 raids so they can roll on all loot anyway.

Austerim, I did not ask for your opinion or for your pathetic sarcasm, ok? Some people write columns or books, make movies or whatever by using sarcasm in a very intelligent way + they do it in a way that actually makes you think about some things(problems in society, meaning of life or whatever) and most of the time their art carries a deeper message. However, you are not one of them. You are a forum troll and nothing else. I can hardly read any topic on this forum without having to see one of your stupid comments. Sometimes you try to provoke someone, sometimes you just show how brainless you are. Most of the time you QQ about everything, especially Mids. I know some people on Hib, and you are well known as a person who complains, but never wants to organize anything. Even in RvR you lack any initiative to start anything, since you are usually the 8th pickup.


Trolling the forum may amuse you, but if we lived in a more civilized age, people like you would probably be beheaded for hiding behind cheap provocations with nothing to back it up with. I really don't care about people who insult directly, at least they speak their mind in an open way, unlike you do. So again, you are not intelligent, nor is your humor witty and cool. I posted this for people who attend dragon raids and your comments are not needed. I've met plenty of people like you, and usually it's a combination of being beaten up entire childhood in school by other boys + lack of female companionship. Well i find this rules crap, even on pve ppl start to be elitist lol, 20 dragon raid or no roll for the items that are worth it, but u can roll for ****** items and waste 1 hour of ur time for nothing. Good that i dont pve ^^

You can still roll on at least 3-4 decent items + stones, how is that bad for 1 hour? I lose a lot more time spamming people, organizing, typing to new people etc. Why do you care anyway? All you do is change realms, trade accounts and die of boredom every day.

its more fun to change realm than try to scam in an officialy way the news players trying to get decent items ^^ and talking about xrealm and trade account, isnt from ur guild that most of ppl have go alb, and isnt from ur guild that ppl was banned perma for account and items buy with realm money ? ^^
