so my question is how to spec a skald,

i heard:

50 bs 39 weap parry all the rest

46 bs 44 weap rest parry

44 bs 39 weap rest parry

43 bs 50 weap rest parry

witch 1? and WHY?

last thin Axe or Hammer?

i know hammer has back slow and use a lot lower endurance but have u seen how much cost all 2h hammer in this server?! it's crazy

so Axe have a anytime snare and use a lot of endurance BUT all 2h axe cost >1p

SO witch 1 and WHY :D?

46 BS 39 or 44 Hammer rest into Parry is good. Hammer anytimer uses little endurance, nice backsnare for when they try to run, etc. Overall I believe the Hammer styles use less endurance.

The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!

axe does more dmg to chain/scale tanks/sups though

neutral vs albs and extra vs hibs

while hammer only does neutral vs albs and less dmg vs hibs

If roaming solo, its better. Especially with the front style. Also since the root/snare behavior was changed, if you use your snare magic from skald, the conquer spam wont snare ur ennemies. So if solo, i will go 100% axe

I agree and I guess, 90% of the skalds use hammer. I play my skald also often solo and because of the case, that my most enemies are in hadrian paladins or infis (horseroute) and ranger in emain, hammer should work best.

prices on Mid are way over the top regardless of what you are looking for.

If you go swords you will find some expensive items.. the basalt sword is 18-20p for Christs sake!

Sword and Axe uses relatively the same endu.

Sword = good off styles
Axe = good front style
Hammer = low endu costs

take yer pick what you want to do and just stick at it.

There is no cheap easy win with a Skald because you have to pay for your results.

yeah sword is ok, it tends to rely more on positional styles than axe does because you would use Havok on axe for high front damage.Sword would use a side 2 hit chain and rear Ragnarok.

But as a skald, especially if solo, you'll probably only get one chance to land these positionals in a fight.

Or just make sure you are always hitting a fleeing target from behind with ragnarok :)
