Is the Midgard dragon easier than the other realm's dragons? I've only ever done Albion's dragon like once a week with 60+ people. Seems crazy seeing now Midgard's is done each day (or multiple times a day) with a third of the people I've ever done it with before.

You can easily do the Alb dragon with same number of people. Smokeys leads dragon raids with 14-17 people as far as I know. The "zerg" Alb dragon raid is "official" raid twice a week or so  . A friend once showed me a video of his old guild on live(classic) doing the dragon with 1fg ."He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. Every dragon can be killed with 10+ ppl. Even with 7-8 if they are good
Albs have open raids too for everyone, mids havent. Thats all  If you play in Albion be happy since you can join even with L40+ Char. As i know they kill dragon in lesser as 10 minutes, so you spend just 15 min for grp+killing dragon if you are already at lair ^^^In a private raid you must belong to 'elite' with a good knowledge of DRs and mostly a L50 Char or you will have no chance to be invited  And its take much longer... Im mid about 1h+ to build grps, move to DragonLair and kill him (35-45 Min for killing).So open raids give you a good chance to get in and maybe much lesser time... but lesser chance to get something good Private raids need more time and you must be good+have enought DR expirience... but you get ALWAYS something and can get even a XXp worth item at your first raid (!) As i know some years ago all 3 realms had open raids. But mids stopped it 3.5+ years ago. Albs and Hibs(?) still have it. A combination of both is a good way for the realm, but not many leaders wanna do it cause private raids are more profitable |

Dont think it will have a efford in Midgard+its too much work Even as i have maked 1-2 Ally raids few years ago L45+ for every ally member it was nearly no response. Maybe i will do it one or two times just for fun But think most of expirienced DR-Members will dont join it. No point, they have enought items/money from private raids |

We will roll for extra items tomorrow, there's only one item(dragon bone bracer) and some stones to be rolled on. I hope all of you can make it tomorrow, it would be nice if we can roll after DR. I will list the people who did most raids within the last month.

Hey Raggnar, I'm an upcoming hunter. Once i'm at the appropriate level, would you accept hunters into such events?

Most probably not, sorry. This is somewhat of a private raid, and the missing slots are filled up with randoms I spam for. I can always use a shaman, healer, skald or zerk, but no rogue classes. Hunters do good dmg on dragon, but if I have a hunter in group, I don't have protect on a healer, because warriors protect DPS classes, so I need DPS to protect healers. And raids went to ****** a lot of times when healers were not protected xD. People qq on me cause I invite only certain people and classes, but I've lead over 200 dragon raids and it gets very frustrating, I need to closely watch even regulars because they tend to slack as well. So hmmm, I like to keep it effective and I want to focus on the raid, not on typing to people all the time. I've lead too many raids and got burned out on it, sorry. I like to keep it as small as possible and effective. I guess you knew that your class is not raid friendly when you rolled it. If I am desperately missing last DPS, I could take a hunter instead of waiting for an hour for a zerk to show up, but that's it ."He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. pls keep in mind raggnar that every blow class has 100% to hit a mob with it, no matter what. with my ranger i took often the aggro of the dragon from far distance. so i in this raid i made more damage without taunt than all those melee's ^^

Yeah, I know . We tried with hunter, that's precisely why I don't want one + the fact that rogues can't protect healers. Overall, even that damage output speeds up the raid for maybe 2 mins(at best), being it a small raid heh ."He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. Mid dragon takes longer with the same amount of ppl, they dont have animist or theurg to spam dozens of pets Gorim.

Takes about 25 mins to kill the dragon with 14 people, 30 tops(depending on number of stuns). As for group building, sometimes it takes 1 hour, sometimes 10 mins. There's no "elitists", just regulars. Also, as it has been stated, Midgard has no massive pet spam. We can't land a single spell on dragon unless 17 attackers are hitting him, so go figure.
