Question about crafting recipes

For my armor crafter and my alchemist, some recipes show wrong ingredients.
Example alch: For a elixier of deftness, I need 2 dex potions and one more ingredient, but when i delve info for elixier of deftness, it shows me only the raw materials, not the needed dex potions. Example ac: For chain gloves lvl 51, I need tempered siluric gloves + 15 arcanium, but the recipes tells me to buy arcanium, leather and thread. I guess this problem applies to all "combined" recipes, which have been patched to be easier on live now. Like you do not need a tailor to do work for you in order to craft chain - ac is sufficient. Ofc I know, patch 1.69 is the one, which is worked to. And there the recipes are more complex than on live nowadays. Thats very fine, but the recipes have to be shown correctly. I installed the craftfix ofc... So it seems there are two possibilities: - I installed craftfix incorrectly (order of patches?) - It is a bug Any help? For Alchemy, all "combine" recipes are wrong if you delve them, ie: deftness, might. I don't know if it is a bug, but you did not download it wrong, has been this way since I began playing 2 years ago. Best thing to do is just "attempt" to make it without any mats, and buy the mats you are told you don't have. I have all alch potions already set up on my bars so it is quick and easy to just hit the button for the item I want to make and go buy what it tells me I need
AC I have no idea "Vision is not seeing things as they are, but as they will be" |

You just have to deal with it like all the other crafters.... For chain it's easy. The shown ammount of leather and tread is what u need for one lining, so you as armorcrafte can just forget about that and buy only the metal if u get the linings. (thread + leather = lining) + metal = chain armor So the recipe shows you the exact ammount of materials you need for one try. Crafting plate will become more difficult. The recipe shows like for chain, the exact ammount of materials needed for one try. Now you will say "oh yes thats exactly the same like chain, no worry about thread, leather and cloth, i order linings and have to buy only the metal". But you will fail at that point. For plate you need cloth linings and an extra ammount cloth for each try. Everyone thinks Paladins and Armsmen are strong, but as armorcrafter you know the truth, they are weak, gay and need it soft ![]() (thread + cloth + sometimes leather = lining) + cloth + metal = plate armor In this case its annoying as armorcrafter without own tailor, because the ammount of extra needed cloth is not provided by the recipe. Overall as armorcrafter its annoying with partly wrong shown recipes, but as spellcrafter or alchemist you are really lost with wrong recipes Last edited by Elalinvan on Feb 18, 2013 16:32, edited 1 time in total.

As it is clearly a bug, and "all bugs get fixed" - I hope I dont have to live with it forever ![]() Ex-Albion-Logres: Bogner [Sankaras Erben] and co Ex-Camlann: Dirtymind [FEAR] and Stinkerle ![]() |
