i specced spirit from the start and i'm happy too...not as happy as on live, as the patch level back then was spirit-caby-friendlier but happy still :D

what's the matter? sure cabies are taken for ns + disease most ofthe time but than again most classes are taken for 2-3 skills only...pala for guard+endu...clerics for heal+buff...off-tanks for dmg only, omg!

as for pve: imho focus-pulls with buffed pets (vs not-so-high-mobs even unbuffed) should be fine as well...and dot should be ok too, at least i wouldn't know why not...

and in rvr cab (whichever spec) has much more to offer, however ns and disease + rupting pet are most important things :)

in RvR cabby has a neverending list of things to do if u have some spec on each line, imo is the class with more utility, maybe too much because sometimes I would like to have 4 qbars to put all the tools. Dont forget that on caster grps with body sorcs u will be the debuffer for them  , ns in matter line, root, disease (single and ae), debuffs.........and I told only the utility part, now check all the damage spells u have

Sure Cab is there for ns and disease, but he can also root and always has a sorc that can assist you. And cab+sorc + debuff is very nice dmg. And the rr5 is also nice to annoy the others support. I am 3 spec and very happy with it :)

Cab is for damage, also food for thought:

If you have tank group without caby, you will probably push

If you change ONE tank for caby, you will kite.

Not bad for a class that does 3 things.
