Hi guys I've read through all the forums and there's a lot of good stuff on here. So I just want to make sure I'm doing things right. I'm following the mid leveling guide stickied at the top, Keep LA at my level and, will be putting points into axe once I get extra.

Besides that do you guys have any general good tips or tricks for a new player to level correctly. Example: XYZ places have good gear to farm out for ABC levels, Make sure try and get Z drop from Y mob it'll help you out, Once you get x style it'll be your bread and butter so use these combos.Thanks guys in advance!

The leveling guide was designed for hunters and ranged classes. As I recall, Zerkers are a bit more 'in your face'. Still I think the guide as a whole works and gives you some ideas of where to go.

A few alternatives:

After lev 10 check out Myrkwood. So many mobs in such a small area. Everything you need is at Gna faste
DF when you can (As I recall many start hunting there is their 20's)
Hit the Upland frontier 20+
MOst everyone heads to Dodens 39+
Controling your BG keep really helps. Check the BG status when you log in and if you dont own it... send out a call and go own it!

Are there any pay it forward programs or guilds on mid? I played on merlin and we use to have starter sets to give away to new players in the guild with the promise that one day they would pay it forward later to other new players once they were able to. It was a good way to build guild pride and loyalty.

Once you are level 50, you should go split spec, not axe. Way more efficient on this server and most zerkers do it. And no, I don't think there are those starter sets, but many players will give you gold or their old gear, or make some first try armor/weps for you.

Unfortunatly there are no programs that I am aware of. A nice idea however. I wonder if the Mularn protectors starter guild should get a Guild House with a vault where new/unguilded can deposit and withdrawl.

Ive seen many crafters (myself included) answer a call on the Trade channel. Ask for Lev 15 axe and someone already skilling up at the Jordheim forge will prolly easily make ya something (sure its 94% qual, but hey). Its only like 30silver. Just dont get greedy and ask for 99% qual complete spellcrafted template set....with glowies.

Also, remember the Kill tasks for levs 1-20. Good coin and XP

Hammer and any other wep(both axe and sword are slash so it does not matter). You might wanna go axe though, player crafted axes are 4.2 unlike swords that are 4.0.

Nice will do, time for a nice long grind. It's kinda refreshing being a newbie again and not knowing everything. Re discovering the world and how everything works had been pretty fun. I'm still extremely low level are there any good sites or gear lists that have been done for melee so I know where to farm for gear as I level.

I was able to get some gold this morning by running around getting crafting material for some one so he helped me out at the end of it. Bought some red con gear off the merchant and went to grinding being only level 6 atm I figure I might as well since I'll grow into the gear relatively quickly.

I'm going to try and follow Czzarre plan of attack for leveling. Are there any BG's I should be looking to hit at certain levels and try and cap out rp's?

Hah! I didnt think of that. I wager a newbie can make some money running reagents for the spellcrafters in jord. Its a pain to run to and from the table to the vendor.

Note: Gear quality doesnt really matter in the first 20 levels...just piece together whatever you can find. For me (melee char), it was better to have a good weapon than good armor for early leveling.

Remember to check housing and search for anything under 1Gold. Myself (and others) often throw a few low level (<20) crafteds just to basically hand out.

One good thing about Zerker (and hunter) is that armor will be really cheap to buy (Studded). I believe everyone skills up their craft (armorcraft I believe) on studded because its the cheapest...so there is a LOT of studded on consignment. Many times near or at cost just to recoup the expense of skilling up.

Ah, I just remembered silver and envy drakes. In E sveland..like lev 10ish I think. Drop weapons that sell really well for that level. Farm em to make your first few gold.

Oh, there is a phantom hound in Mularn that drops a pair of studded pants. Very wierd bug. I found the pants at lev 5 and wore those pants and they always conned blue. Eventually when I was like lev 25 I realized how low level the armor was even though it was conning blue. I sold them to a merchant and he gave me 97gold! I meant to put in a bug report that this item appreciates as you level. I always wondered what the item could have sold for had I dared worn them to lev 50. Bug report INC

Cool, when I log in tonight I'll check out, newbie question but where's housing. From what I remember there was an NPC that you used to search for item then you'd have to run out to the house to buy the item is that still true on uthgard?

You can enter it from mularn, use porter in jord to port to housing or equip hearth medallion(if you own house) or a hearth bind medallion(if you are bound to any house)...and hmmm yes medallion of guild hearth passage(which obviously ports you to your guildhouse)..all that assuming you are on the pad with gothis.

How do I tell if DF is open also how is it opened? Is it still by whichever realm has the most keeps at any given time.

You can use /realm in game to check or http://uthgard.net/en/herald. DF access is controlled by whoever has the most keeps.
