Hello all, I'm rolling a skald and excited to play some old school DAOC.

I understand the economy is very difficult on new players, if anyone can lend some coin or crafted items I would surely appreciate it.

I just came back also I find it best to offer high level crafters to run around picking up materials for them. They'll normally give you a tip or let you sell some junk crafted items for some gold. This way at least your helping some one and not just asking for a hand out.

Levelings a grind fest but it's nice where positioning and proper pulling of mobs matter. You'll feel a lot more connected to the world becaus eyour force to be mindful of respawn timers.

Ive also been putting Lev 15 2H weapons on the AH Every other day or so. I price them at 2.5 silver and let players know in <mularn Protector> guild chan. Grinding up the first 10-20 levels is all about damage output. So a crafter lev 15 weapon makes it a lot easier. If you dont see any up, send a tell to Torrential.

Also a lot of crafters standing around the forge will often more than happy make you low level items if you bring them reagents. Just head to the lower forge and ask.
