Starting Points for Norse Hunter, HELP!

Having such a tough time deciding how to allocate my starting points for my Norse Hunter. Currently I'm at lvl 3 and I did 10 str/10 con/10 dex... But some people have recommended 10 quickness to try to get closer to the soft cap of 250. At 50 with self buff, if I do 10 quickness, I'll have 236 quickness, and without quickness points, I'll be at 226.
How would you recommend me allocating my points? 10/10/10 15/10 Con/Dex/Str/Qui? Thanks for reading and helping! |

I believe 10 dex/str/qui is good, the 10 con is not really game breaking and well you are a Norse with high starting con anyway so, go for quickness imo.
"He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. The warm intimacies of small, kindly things, the sentiments and delicious trivialities that make up so much of civilized men's lives were meaningless to him. A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs. Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women." |

I may be wrong. But can you not edit a character's starting points in Customization at any time?

I made my hunter a Norseman because I wasnt for sure if I was going to be spear or sword. In hindsight I wish I had made a Valk or Kobold hunter since I know now that I use spear. If you really want to play Norse hunter it works fine, and either way of putting in your 10 points can work. Personally, when I made mine I went 10 dex/10 str/10 qui. As a Norse you allready have a good amt of hit points so its not like you are lacking on con. Quickness is what his weakness is, and trust me, every hunter I have played with has said the same thing. We all wish we could swing faster. Quickness will help that, and late if you go with 50 Beastcraft you can hit the soft cap of 250 quickness or at least come very close to hitting it.

Indeed you can. |

You can edit them, but when you log in they will go back to whatever they were when you started. As far as I know there is only 2 ways to permananetly change them. One is when you create the toon. The other is if you use a Arcenana Stone (not sure if I spelled that right) and those dont drop anymore so to get one would be pretty expensive.

That's good to know. I guess I was fooled by the UI.
