I agree with Blue on this, in the 2+ years I have been here there is way more RvR now than ever before and my guild is seeing some old players returning because of this. All in all the server is in better shape. |

If you don't understand my idiotic argument, i can try to explain again. Uthard is 1.69 but with 1. Extra features that should not be there 2. Missing features If you remove all extra, then, Uthgard is just less than DAoC v1.69. Before this removals, we could consider than Uthgard is better than 1.69. Anyway, your goal is still not clear. 1.69 is the official statement, but a list of custom things exists, so it seems to be hopefully a little better than a version number with no improvement made after. What kind of improvement could we hope to keep on the server ? Of cours they don't know. Even if your example is false, i really doubt taht a majority of players would ask for /level and higher xp rates. But the things you remove were already there and it seems to be good in the long term. Do you really think situation will be better in the long term thanks to barrel removal, no more xp off, and more removal ? What you succeed to do is make the older player to leave. You really want the best in the long term ? Try to understand why we have lost so many players last year and why there's still less player than in early 2012 while it's now really easy to connect to Uthgard... RIP : Ectoplasme

First off, thanks for providing this service (to you and staff), and overall I think most players are happy, even though we don't always agree with ALL your decisions. Like when you win in RvR, and we still complain about what could have been done better. I'd like to make one request. Whenever there are game-changing decisions: make an in-game poll during prime time, and or a combination of in-game, forum, and FB etc. Either-way, it would be appreciated if you let the community have its say. No player-council, or anything, just let people vote and let the shear numbers speak as our opinion. It would appease the community, and make us ALL feel more involved. Freeshard celebrity since Odin's Gate "Sup Warlord, Nova, Legion!"

Remove gems from patch 1.72
Keep rvr horse mounts and from darkness rising expansion and sparkling unicorns, and even implement bardings for them. Nice consistency.  |
